I watched the whole competition last night. You did pretty well for your first try and it takes a lot of guts to just get up on stage. I thought your suit was adorable and the song was catchy and different. I have a few critics that might help with your performance next time. (I'm not hating on you, i promise)

1.you chose a harder song to dance to, if that is the style most comfortable to dance to make it work for you
2.your suit has bigger leg paddings than i think most of the other suiters had, which means you have to put more effort into your moves so that they can be seen
3.you only danced to one song,while that isn't bad, alot of suiters mix it up, adding a song with the con's theme helps too
4.they like when you use all of the floor(and change direction so the whole audience can see you)
5.adding more to your moves will help so you don't end up doing the same thing over and over
6. Practice makes perfect, you will do even better next time! ^_^


Also, I have never been in a dance competition myself. I just watch them. So if this displeases you in anyway I will not be offended if you block this comment...

Awww, I wouldn't block your comment when you're trying to help! But yeah, electroswing is my thing so I'll definitely be sticking with it so it's all a matter of practice :3 And next time I'll be sure to cut my song! They said on the site they'd cut it at 2:30 so I only choreographed that much of the song and had to improvise when they played the whole thing, lol! Whoops!
Thank you for the pointers, I'll definitely keep them in mind as I get prepared for my next shot! :D

But since you watched the whole thing I hope you enjoyed my buddy as Joe!! It was her first dance comp to and she totally crushed it~

yeah her's was pretty interesting and her suit even more so, those eyes were awesome. Apparently there were several first timers in that competition so hopefully they will come back for a second time. I can't wait to see you dance again, what is the next con you think you will be going to?

Next con I'm going to is Anthrocon which I'm going to do the prelims for the dance comp. I most likely won't make it to the finals at such a big con but I can at least use the prelim experience!
