Dragoneer not only sold off FA, but he broke his own TOS, which was to never sell off information to third parties.

By doing this and giving IMVU FA, he’s given them your data.

Every content creator is at risk.

As followed:

"IMVU reserves the right to redistribute content that has been uploaded to FurAffinity as agreed upon in page 9 of the terms of sale"

And, in the Submission Agreement:

"FA retains full rights to modify or change the terms set forth within this document at any time. Any changes will be posted publicly via news updates and/or administrative notices. Any and all changes made to this document become retroactive."

IMVU can monetize any artwork posted from here on out.

Yo: the comment "IMVU reserves the right to redistribute content that has been uploaded to FurAffinity as agreed upon in page 9 of the terms of sale" was not one made by Dragoneer. The Terms of Sale were never even released. And in regards to "IMVU can monetize any artwork posted from here on out": No, they really can't the type of sale they went through was the same sort of one that State and AMI went through: Yeah, they're owned by IAG but are basically autonomous, for lack of a better word.

Then as a legal document, it's redundant, it doesn't apply anymore. Plus, you're still not showing me, or anybody for that matter, the terms of sale document. Where is it? I call bullshit.

Because he can not show it. It would require both him and the IMVU owners to agree to show it.

Maybe because the TOS don't have to be public and honestly releasing sensitive documents is really bad business and can harm the makers and their investments.

Anyway, if this is such a problem for you then why stick around? There's a shit bucket of other furry sites. SoFurry, Weasyl, Inkbunny, etc. You could just go to any other furry site if you hate what's happening here so much.

While I was snarky on the journal itself, frankly someone else owning the site can't be any worse than how it's already been handled for umpteen years. Kinda hoping they'll decide to boot Dragoneer at some point in the future and because it's not his site anymore there's not a darn thing he can do about it.
