Birthday + Planning Commissions
11 years ago
General
So yeah, today is my Birthday.
Thankies to those who wished me a happy b-day,
And those who have not yet do so and do it now... Thankies!!
That's pretty much it for that segment.
---
Anyways...
I'm thinking about opening up commissions after being so generous with doing a lot of requests for peeps and friends...
Though, I'm kind of having trouble pricing out my art... =3=
I'm not good evaluating my arts, and I know that nsfw art can... surprisingly be very expensive... o_o
But nonetheless, I just want to know what you guys think my art costs, and what prices you okay with paying... all that cool stuff... because my mom keeps telling me, "You don't want to be a starving artist".
So... I think the first step would be to open a bank account... =w=;;
And the reason why I don't have one is because I'm very lazy... ;u;

Also, I don't know how to price art myself.
I mean, what do you think it's worth?
Like a estimate or something.
Eat all the cake you can come by!
Happy B-day btw
As for the pricing, I suggest you start somewhat low at first. 5USD or maybe 10USD for something that you usually make. That way you'll quickly gain some popularity and really start raking in those commissions. Once the commissions start to pile up, raise up the price a bit. This is bring in fewer people and allow you to have a little more time to yourself along with more time to finish up whatever list of commissions you may have. Once you are ready for more commissions again then you can lower the price back down.
At least, this is my suggestion.
As for pricing. I'd say $11 for a single charecter pic. If they whant another chericter, or some difficult parts $2-$6.
Ovuisly it's up to you what the prices are, I definatly suggest not going under this otherwise it's a waste of your time. As you get better and more comfertabul you can always raise them.
Also price things to cover the tranfer, PayPal and such usually have a fee. If you price include the cover fee you won't feel stupid when your missing $5.
Yet they pay $5 for someone to make a picture with a free doll maker program.
Because logic...
