went to my walmart tonight and bought all 4 they had, and it is a fucking LEGEND to tell how I got them all xD

HERE'S THE WHOLE STORY IN A PRETTY DETAILED NUTSHELL

[1:36:27 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: I get out of school today and find out the super mario bros amiibos come out on the 20th
[1:36:45 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: along with the golden mario amiibo
[1:37:04 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so I get home and call my local walmart to see if they have them in stock
[1:37:19 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: give the guy the upc, he says "yes we have 4 in stock"
[1:37:24 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so I'm like great
[1:37:43 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: I get off work at 11:30 and its right by a walmart
[1:38:01 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so I leave work early and get there
[1:38:08 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and there's a nice lady behind the counter
[1:38:52 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: I ask her about the golden amiibo marios and their not on the shelf yet so I told her I had the sku where she could look it up, and so she looks it up and all 4 are still there

[1:40:12 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so I wait a bit, banter with her about games and stuff, find a loose in box peach and pick that up, banter more, wait more and then her friend came over so she went to the back to find it

[1:40:36 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: I look in the amiibos and theres this guy prowling around lookin for it to I assume
[1:40:48 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: then he kinda dissapears
[1:41:10 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: THEN my old coworker from a video game store shows up apparently trying to meet his friend
[1:41:30 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: we talk a bit and he tells me he's there to get one to if they will sell them
[1:42:12 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: So I make up some bullshit how it won't be sold till 6 am for a 24 hour store
[1:42:21 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so he peaces out
[1:42:28 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: THEN the lady comes back as he leaves
[1:42:32 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: with the BOX
[1:42:47 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and that kid stalking the amiibo shows up outta fucking nowhere
[1:52:28 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and she opens the box
[1:52:44 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: pulls out one and sets it on the shelf and asks "Do you want just one?"
[1:43:38 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and I think for a sec outloud, "Lets see, one for me, Rob, Graham, and Cam, I better get all four"
[1:43:51 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and the kid was right behind me looking at stuff
[1:44:08 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: texting on his phone presumably raging internally
[1:44:26 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: AND I BOLT TO THE NEAREST CART AND PUT THEM ALL IN THERE
[1:44:47 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: then I go get some miscelaneous groceries my granma needed
[1:45:12 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and put my bigass coat over the amiibos in the cart so no one knows I have them still besides that one guy
[1:45:29 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so then I get up to the line having an anxiety attack
[1:45:51 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: AND THEN MY COWORKER FRIEND APPEARS AGAIN
[1:46:19 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: telling me "Hey man, found my friend and asked if they could go get me an amiibo and they told me they can't do that"
[1:46:41 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and I was repeating the whole 6 am story to him and said "Yeah they told me that to when I asked"
[1:47:25 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and he goes on saying people got theirs already at walmart and stuff at midnight
[1:47:37 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and I'm like "Oh well, guess we just got unlucky then"
[1:48:03 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so he leaves
[1:48:41 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and I'm like "I've lied twice to a guy I barely know and feel not remotely bad about it cause this all ties into my big ass revenge plot against my other friends"

[1:49:09 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: the prowler guy comes up behind me with NOTHING in his hands just waiting in line
[1:49:36 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: and I'm sure he knows I have the amiibos under my coat since my former coworker didn't see them
[1:50:04 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so I was looking over my shoulder so paranoid making sure he wouldn't jack one
[1:50:18 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: then I'm checking out
[1:50:25 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: get done and BOLT to my car
[1:50:48 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: looking behind me making sure no one sees me, as if I was some totally legal thief
[1:51:06 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: just not wanting my truck to be stalked and robbed at night lol
[1:51:35 AM] Dumb ol lizard...: so now I'm back here, with all four gold amiibo
