This is the most simple way to explain everything going on with this new alliance between IMVU and FA that I've seen so far, anyone who is having concerns etc about this, PLEASE read this before you jump to conclusions or "abandon ship" in any way. This is NOT what everyone is drama-mongering about. It's literally a way for FA to gain access to better technology and what not to continue helping make improvements to the site!

That is cool. It still feels a little...off that IMVU stands to gain nothing from the merger than bringing communities together.

Honestly, if that really is all they're getting out of it, I find it to be a relief that they can have a partnership like this without being all about "Well what's in it for me?" ya know? It's kinda refreshing to me really. *Shrugs.*

I am remaining hopeful though that that is all there is to it. Would be nice to see some simple good come from two communities joining.
