Soon to backup over 100 drawings to Weasyl! Yay! XD
Inkbunny has a thing where you can just transfer all of you FA data over to Inkbunny
At all.
All things given, each submission already contains a copyright declaration to the uploader... which means absolutely nothing since you can steal an image and magically own it.
Trust me. If they want to, they will, you're out of luck. Either there's a EULA wall, a TOS wall, or some sneaky lawyer business.
There's a damn good reason Disney, using an army of lawyers, can successfully extend ownership over creations made by dead people from leaking into public domain.
Now, my actual issues are these:
1. IMVU probably doesn't WANT to be associated with 99.99% of the... 'art'... posted on FA. Owner this stuff can probably put them in some legal bad zones.
2. None of this... 'art'... really benefits them to own anyway.
3. Every image is default-uploaded with a Copyright declaration. Whatever that really means, since it can magically give a thief copyright over someone else's property.
My basic argument is that this journal is a better click-bait than that it's magical pixy dust that scares off the hellhole of copyright law.
There's a reason copyright lawyer is becoming a specific branch of legal teams, and why schmucks like you and me don't stand a CHANCE.
Your best option, since this doesn't do anything?
Never agree to a EULA, if you hear talk there's a hidden TOS update that redirects ownership of FA-server placed media to IMVU or something, RUN. You can't win.
JUST RUN.
(disclaimer: this clearly isn't the case right now, but, in some dark world, it might be)

Oh, I forgot to mention that FA already has a sexy, sneaky, under-the-hood "you're boned" policy.
tl;dr FA already owns your art for THEIR purposes, and, surprise, IMVU owns FA.
So... yea.
You're trying to retroactively undo something you technically already agreed on.
Oh, and Section 2 has another sexy, sneaky caviat you don't know.
FA informs you via under-the-banner updates, and, as of this TOS, is REQUIRED to do that when it changes the TOS... but there's no specified time period. They can, legally, put up a banner for five seconds.
Then, they can ask you to agree ot the changes or not and let you continue using FA or not...
OR, they can NOT ask. And, after 14 days, they can say 'oh, you didn't say no' and do whatever they changed. Without asking you.
Welcome to spooky land. We recently expanded our legal section to include hidden clauses and terrible synergies.
