Tablet question for artists!

When you draw with a tablet, esp. one without a screen, do you draw with it flat on the desk in front of you or do you prefer to have it in your lap?

mine is always set in my lap... its easier to draw that way for me

I keep my cintiq on a desk in front of me, at about elbow height, slanted about 25 degrees

I have a small laptop stand at an angle that my intuos sits on, though sometimes I like to keep it flat on my desk. Depends on my mood I guess.

When I do a tablet that's not art-on-screen, I lay it on the desk and art on it that way.
