30 Days of ABDL – Day Twenty

Day Twenty.. Any non-Disney movies that you would like to watch when you’re in your little headspace?
Definitely. My favourite movie as a kid (you know, the one that you had 3 copies of because you'd rewind the VHS tape so many times it would break and you'd need a new one?) was The Seventh Brother. Except the box said "Tiny" in big letters, so we called it "Tiny", which is the name of the puppy in it. Still my go-to movie when I'm feeling really little.
I like the first half of Wolf Children: Ame and Yuki, but the second half changes tones and doesn't really feel like a little movie. In a similar vein, I like old DCAU movies when little, but not the newer stuff. The newer ones are pretty gore-y and definitely not suitable for kids.
Pokémon movies are also good when I'm feeling little. In case you haven't caught on, I really like Pokémon. :P
Last of all, How to Train Your Dragon. Aaaaaaaawesome movies. The hero is like the total opposite of Hiro. He has to overcome a lot of personal flaws, and sometimes they have very severe consequences. Hiccup first learns that there are two sides to every story, and maybe your "enemy" just needs some help. Then in the second he learns you can't always reason with the bad guy, and sometimes you need to be ready to fight them off.
Yes, I'm still annoyed Big Hero 6 won the Oscar over HTTYD2 when the votes amounted to "my kid likes it better", even though it's got giant, gaping plot holes. Kids are stupid. They don't understand what makes a "good" movie. There's a reason the voting is supposed to be done by adults.
SUPER LATE EDIT: I totally forgot about Land Before Time. The second, third, and fifth are easily the tops. I rewatched them recently and they like instantly make me feel little again.
