First is my DeviantArt, where you can actually find a LOT of my old writings. Which at one point were apparently half decent enough to have a good following. I've sorely neglected it since, so things tend to be quiet. http://red-savage.deviantart.com/
And then my Weasyl. I don't know why I don't use this. The site is superior to FA in every way. I guess it's mostly the community keeping me here.
That said, I won't stop updating journals and stopping correspondence on here. I won't, however, be uploading too often here. This includes my own drawings and writings, commissioned art and smut, and donation sketches. So if you'd like to see my hot stuff anywhere, find it on Weasyl. If you'd like to see my more writing oriented stuff, find me dA. I want to try and diversify my online presence and this seems like a good a time as any.
For just general updates, any of the three sites I use will work.
i won't even even call this a 'permanent" leave because maybe FurAffinity getting rid of Dragoneer as top-dog will be the best thing that ever happened to this site. But... IMVU man. Just. IMVU. For serious. How is that even a thing anymore? I'll wait this out and see.

Everybody is jumping ship when absolutely nothing negative has even been announced about this buyout thing.
Stop it. Please just stop. It's starting to piss me off.
You know im not the bandwagon type. I'm not shifting my upload focus because of some vague wording in agreements or because I think IMVU is going to make this pay to use. And I even say that it may not even be permanent, particularly if FA takes a turn for the better. But right now I feel it's a decent time to work on other galleries for the sake of diversification
Essentially, the real reason why I'm taking this initiative is because Dragoneer has run this website terribly and he doesn't respect the userbase. He's not a business man and it was a fair decision to sell, but he rejected community offers from the very userbase that invested 20k in donations to keep the site self sufficient. He did this less than two months after taking that money with a promise to make FA better so that it would remain independent. To boot, he sold without the knowledge of site co-owners.
I'm not moving stock because he sold our souls. This is hardly the case. In fact, had it been to anyone else, him stepping down as owner would have been a very good choice. He's just a coder. Always has been. But it he went with money instead and that's poor taste to me. To boot, instead of acting like it was a difficult decision, he tried to sell it to us with a bit grin. Like it was no big deal.
But in the long run, admitedly, it don't mean crap-from-diamonds if nobody budges and the site stays as is. I'll be back and I'll do the whole "Lol WELP. Here I am again" schtick and people will go "Ha. Knew you'd be back." And I'll go "Balls, don't I know it." But I'm gonna shift focus for a bit and take advantage of the slight shift in users and see what's what. I'm not bandwagon img the exodus, but really I've thought a bit on it since my less than sterling interaction with Dragoneer in the forums.

Do I suppor Dragoneer not being in charge? Yeah.
Do I support the sell out to IMVU? Noooooo.
So its a mixed bag and an opportunity to diversify myself online. Or, clean up and fix up some alt-galleries and take a month long break from FA until I break down and come back. :U
