Another vent. about Vilous.

This is my personal oppinion. not Mick's official aanouncement.
People who believe/think you are true fan of Vilous.
Then keep this in your mind. you have duty for spread accurate informations to other people. especially in other place.
Especially! in Pixiv(japanese art community). why? because in Japan, Sergal and world of Vilous is still not famouse. at all. only few people know about sergal.
So. when you activate in such place, you must be careful. think yourself as an 'ambassador' of sergal.
Why? i will make simple example. there is some guy who loves cat. and he made some mutant cat character.
and bring it to other place that 'cat' is still not so famous. only few people heard about cat and know about cat.
and that guy spreading his 'mutant cat'. furthermore, requesting to other artist to draw his 'mutant cat'. even that place is not allowed to [ask for free art].
AND, give his wrong informations about 'cat'. then, innocent artist believes that 'cat' as 'genuine cat', and also add his own style, make more distorted 'cat'.
and... repeating this cycle.
What will happen? in that place, people will believe that 'distorted cat' as 'genuine cat'. ... just change cat into sergal.
So. the reason i uploaded the [murrgal problem] days ago is this.
Some guy (I won't exposes his name. i don't want to. he said he is fan of vilous. so i have to help him, guid him.) spreading his [special sergal] in Pixiv.
and keep tagged it as [sergal]. so when we search [sergal] there, sometimes unrelated pic even appeared.
So
coju reported to me, "please do something about this;". and I understood this seriousness.
People who worry about [is my sergal murrgal?]. don't worry. it's ok even your sergal is murrgal or whatever. i actually don't know about true definition of [murrgal].
so we won't talk about [murrgal] anymore. it may bring more problems.
Just, people who awares that your sergal is [different/special] with [original sergal], such as [have breasts], [have huge balls], [have multiple limbs], [mixed with other creature], [have different fur patterns with other], and so on (this is just simple examples. think yourself)
please consider when you upload/spread it somewhere. you have duty for inform [correct informations] of species.
-this sergal is non-cannon. original sergal doesn't have breasts~ - like this.
We don't regulate your creation. we don't have such rights to stop your creativity. but, at least, i think we have to keep the original ideas.
Please. consider deeply when you uses other artist's creation. in this case, when you make/use sergal character, please respect the originator.

I mean sure nothing against the creativity of people but they should rather do it with other races and not sergals.
Then something what lots of other people still believe... That sergals are all about Vore, War and Rape. Whoever believes that should get the stupidity slapped out of them xD. I mean sure that can happen when people get the wrong information but I met a few ones which know the original story and all but they still believe and wont accept it that sergals arent like that and such. Because Mick drew those few pictures of Rain and those got so famous so yeah they think that is the true case. But its not. Sergals live just as normal as humans do. Sure things like that happen in their world just as it does here but its not all about those 3 things... Some people are just... yeah.
And the last thing that people should always properly credit mick for the creation of the sergals. Like ya know Sergal Species Copyright
A stupid thing is that because of Second Life many people do not know who created them nor care either most of the time. Just buy the char. And the most likely use it as sona or side char without even knowing anything about them. And yeah with any commissions and artwork they get done they dont credit Mick in the description so other people who dont know about the sergals yet think they created them or something and not Mick.
Oh well first world problems xD
and welp, we don't care about the last problem. the Real problem is, who is put the copyrights with [Wrong Sergal] that's the worst.
sergal artwork? ok.
sergal artwork with copyright? Good.
weird sergal artwork? ok.
weird sergal artwork with copyright? NOPE. please. don't. rather remove the sergal tags and copyright. PLEASE.
That is not to say the old canon Sergals weren't more than just soldiers, but arguably, the war stories are the most popular and well-known, so that's all people think they are but... such a stereotype isn't too far out of line. Sergals are a strong race, adept at combat, and have an aggressive combat style. When one thinks "Nevrean" they don't think "this is my muscle," that generalization belongs to the Sergal--but it is only a generalization.
I understand where you're coming from here. however, I can say that even as someone who likes the design, a few things really do need to be placed up front, because you can look at old images of Rain Silves and see that she had modest breasts, and some folks wont catch that it isn't canon, which is something I am saying from experience.
You really just need to put it out there for it to be known, so kudos or this little piece of info.
buuut I will continue to at least credit the original artist for the creation of something even if I draw boobs on it because, dude.. it's not mine, but at the same time I won't claim that it's within canon.
that's my 2 cents on sergaltits (and the elusive nevreanboobs!) at least, to me they're there for fun, but not the established fiction.
