I was wronggg

Hey guys ; ;
So I posted my 'I'm back' journal and you all left me such lovely comments- and then I get so busy that I don't respond to all of them OTL I feel awful, but it's all across the board, across all my accounts.
Updates from me will be slow for an undetermined amount of time. Why? I've started my first year at university and everything is currently super overwhelming.
The two commissions I have are under control and they will get done when I have time, no worries about that. It's just correspondence that will be slow as heck. After I get those two works done I won't be taking comms for a while so that I may readjust my life order a bit. Give it a smack and make it stand up straight again instead of being flopped over in a chair if you know what I mean.
If you really really need to contact me for whatever reason, send me a note.
I'll do my best to respond to the... *checks* 98 comments and 80 watcher notifications I have;; worst comes to worst I will wipe them and get back to responding to them when new ones come in.
I'm sorry guys, I really do love y'all
I hope to be back in working order soon!

PS. lmao IMVU what even do
FA+

Also yeah the IMVU thing what even
yeah it's a bit...weird.
it's like the management thing all over again. A lot of people are once again jumping ship
Thank you~
(Also, referring to the other guy, yeah, here in the U.S. Simply calling it 'uni' or 'university' is a bit weird. It's like saying I've got a Nintendo and leaving out the system you own :p. Usually when we say 'university' we include the name of the school, for example: University of Alabama, or University of Washington State. I'm not particularly sure why we don't say 'uni', but we don't. Generally instead of 'uni' we say 'college', "I go to college.", "College sucks, and my brain exploded.", etc.)
University is just a collective term for most tertiary education and it's uni's a colloquial shortening for it so *shrugs* at least in Australia anyway
I find it strange if amercians truly feel the need to state exactly which uni they go to?? Is that really a thing?
Also I thought it was only refereed to as college was just if you lived on the campus of your uni?
Same for us, we just say college instead.
XD no, we just don't use the word 'university' on it's own. It's rare to hear someone say they, "go to university", just sounds weird to us because no one says that. Our dictation is just different is all. I believe England says 'uni', 'university' too.
Really we should say we go to university, because a university is just a collection of different colleges...
It's just not a very common word I guess, it's really only used when we want to be specific about which school we're referring to. Even then we usually leave the word out. Like in my last post, instead of saying, "I go to the University of Washington State." we say, "I go to Washington State." and "I go to Alabama". Or we might use acronyms and instead of saying, "University of Alabama", we'll just say, "U of A". It probably sounds odd, but everyone here will know what you're referring to (Buuut saying "U of A" might be confusing if you go elsewhere that also has a college called "U of A" like the University of Arkansas and if you say that in Arkansas football fans may not like you very much).
Most conversations go like this:
"Do you go to college?"
"Yes, I go to the University of Blank."
And don't worry about gettin' back to us, your life comes first, it always has. Take care of you first, then worry about the other things. =3
