Joao Barbosa with his teammates Christian Fittipaldi and Sebastian Bordais won overall in the Action Express Corvette DP car. And if you watched the race at the end you will have no doubt heard that its the first time since 1965 that a Chevy powered racecar has won overall in that race. A 50 year drought that started after the Chevy powered Chaparral 2 won it.
In GT Lemans class the factory #3 Corvette driven by Antonio Garcia, Jan Magnussen and Ryan Brisco took victory. And in GT Daytona class a heartbreak for the Viper driven by Jeroen Bleekemolen who led most of that class had engine failure with only five minutes to go, giving it to Mario Farnbacher, Ian James and Alex Riberas in a Porsche.

The Southeast of the US gets fuck all for the rest of the year, aside from privately sanctioned events which, oddly, are even more difficult to attend. At this point it's battle of the wallet(when is it not...) since everything else is in the Mid/West coast. (I've got love for the West coast but damn).
That would be awesome for sure, I'd like to do the same thing for a few events (RV/Camping) but, this isn't a perfect world and nothing is ever easy.
Wish you the best - Cheers!
