Sometimes the best tutorial for RPing is a good partner.

Or just doing it, which is something I haven't done in a while.

And here I'd been thinking myself about opening a discussion about this. Talking about the different 'rules' of roleplay that most of us who do take for granted, was even working on a short list of "Problems" in modern day RP that make it difficult for newcomers to overcome and get comfortable with roleplaying.

It'll be interesting to see how you take this, and if it might help I'd offer what little notes I have to perhaps help with future discussion topics.

I'd say the first place to go is a grammar class if you're going to be roleplaying, unless you're talking about the more in depth sentence structures and adding juicy words that trigger just the right sort of visuals in your head. :3
