Not Leaving YET, but I'm packing my stuff up just in case

Okay, so I'm a little too late to this party to call it fashionable, and the bandwagon is so full that the wheels are in danger of falling off, but I have to say, the whole IMVU thing has got me kinda paranoid.
So, yeah, there might be massive amounts of nothing that happen as a result. There could be zero changes on FA because of the sale. Then again, there could just as easily be a dramatic update to the TOS, and if IMVU apply the same Terms & Conditions to FA that they do on their home site (specifically the part that states any/all content that you upload is done so with the automatic permission given to the site hosts/owners to alter, repost and/or distribute elsewhere without any requirement to inform the artist) then holy crap, you won't be able to hear yourself think for all the drama going on.
This is not an attempt at scare mongering, but rather a note of courtesy to all of the wonderful people on here who follow me and like what I post to let you know that I am going to be slowly uploading my things to other sites (mostly Inkbunny and DA, but I might consider Weasyl). It will be a while before any significant numbers disappear from my gallery (due to a combination of volume coupled with laziness) but there will be a slow trickle of movement away from FA.
Who knows, it might all turn out for the better, but I'm too much of a realist to not at least have a plan B.

This happened to allow either party to back out of the deal during the 2 month grace period, and also prevents a release of the sales proceedings and terms (Which is lawful practice for a private sale).
That doesnt mean that this cant be shady as fuck, but, there are reasons why they had to keep it under wraps until recently.
The NDA aside, to me at least, the entire thing does seem like it has been done completely behind closed doors with very little consideration given to the users of the site to give them fair warning so that they then had a grace period to remove themselves from FA before the take-over occurred.
It's times like these that I'm glad I'm not a more popular artist who actually makes a living from commissions via FA.

But I am really concerned about the whole thing. I thought I was on steady, unshakeable ground by falling in with the Wait-and-See tribe, but I cannot get past the small niggle in my mind that's telling me to Be Prepared for the worst case scenario.
Y'know, I would be more than happy if all the sale did was improve the way FA runs. But something tells me that's just not going to happen, and while I have no plans to delete my account and leave forever (the proper forever, not the usual kind where people are back a week later and all of the drama journals they posted suspiciously disappear) I still want to make sure that I have made some decent headway into a secondary site to fall into.
At present, I am pretty much 99% based on FA. So while this isn't as immediate as a DDOS or a Lulz fiasco, it's really something that made me reconsider having all of my eggs in one basket.
Either way, I've got a DA, Weasyl, Inkbunny, and Sofurry as is, plus a tumblr and twitter account so I think I'm set for wherever people decide to go. It's just a pain to migrate everything over. >.> So, yeah, bet is even if the site does tank it's going to be a long time before people really jump ship thanks to general laziness and unwillingness to change.

A place to flee to when the cataclysm finally occurs will set my mind at ease.
