Update, open for commissions!

Hey! I've been exceptionally busy lately, what with VancouFur just recently wrapped up and a string of anthology submissions now closed. (I've got outstanding submissions to a noir anthology, one of Rabbit Valley's fur-to-skin projects, and the Rainfurrest charity anthology right now.) Between that and the convention - designing and printing the conbook, running the very successful writing track, and working with the Board of Directors to get our not-for-profit society registered (almost there!) - it's been nuts.
I've had a couple of weeks to relax a bit, and I've got some of my creative juices flowing again. Right now I'm working on a new Team Players story with some fun adult bits, but I'd like to work on something else too.
So: I'm going to open for commissions again! Here's how I'm going to do it this time around...
I am open NOW and will take applications for TWO stories, of up to 5,000 words each, to be completed by the end of May. (I'll be away on vacation for a bit in April, and may be away for work in early May, so I'm giving myself some leeway.)
Applications will close on March 28, and if I have more than two applications I'll decide which I want to work with and let the commissioners know at that time.
Pricing is as follows: $25 for the first 2000 words, plus $10 for each 1000 words additional, capped at $55 for 5000 words.
To apply: send me a PM here with a summary of what you would like in terms of plot, characters, and setting, as well as themes that you will want included. I'm happy to write anything from G to X. I do have some things I won't write and will let you know if your theme is out of my range. I like a challenge, so feel free to give me one! Let me know what word count you're looking for, as well.
If you're accepted, I'll be asking for the base $25 up front, and whatever additional based on word count on delivery. I'll give you a progress report and allow you some adjustments at that point if I'm off target.
