SO, it's turning out to be a crappy week for me anyway. Friday is my birthday, and that's fine, but what isn't fine is everything else.
I won 230$ last month, and I'm still fighting to claim it (it is actually legit, I checked thoroughly, I'm just getting the run around) I was going to put half on my card, so I don't have to worry about that for awhile, but I'm still waiting. Add onto that that we have maybe two days worth of food to last us until the 10th of next month, and four people to feed, and I'm beginning to feel like not only will I spend my birthday starving, but I have absolutely no way to fix it. I tried to re-apply a few more places, and got turned down every time.
I'm trying to come up with an idea, and the only thing I can come up with is something I'd rather not do. I'm not asking for anything, nor do I really expect any kind of action. I just thought I'd let everyone know. I'm going to go back to bed now so I can stop thinking about things.

*hugs* I am so sorry, I wish I could say that I understood how you feel, but in this case, I don't think I ever could, but I can say that I am so so sorry...
I was pregnant with twins at the time and lost one of them, so it wasn't as devastating as it could have been.

This town is about 900 people, and most are rich, or very very old, so the food pantry only operates one day a month, and gives a few days worth of food. We don't really have an options other than that.
._. I want to help out, so I'm debating if I should just sell the suit I spent over a year paying off... I was planning to try and use that to see about entertaining for parties for money, but it seems like that's just another dumb idea. I'm pretty full of those ^^;
You could try to do the party thing, I don't know how in demand it is though.
Don't have any local friends that can help you out at all? Or extended family?
