How will IMVU make money off FA?

There is a fear that FA is going to get put behind a pay wall or that IMVU will start selling of artists hard work. I kinda want get my two cents in and do a realy weird thing with it.

So iMVU is a big company that has game thing that does yes make money. If we are going to start hating everyone that wants to make money we have a lot of artists who we need to start ragging on. Wanting to make money off of FA isn't a bad thing. In fact there are a lot of ways to do it that aren't really going to impact us negatively at all.
Let's go ahead and take the bull by the horns and dive right into the big fear monger hot button topic right now. ART THEFT!
ge golly wilikers that sounds bad. Why yes it is. Taking an artist's hard working and making money off of it is bad and art theft happens on IMVU and many many other sites. Seriously. Dig into fury mate, furtrax, or any other rp or hook up sites. I doubt profusely that there are that many snow white and artic blue fox herms in the central Texas area.
But let's focus on IMVU for a bit and their unique situation now. They have a unique opertunity now with the ownership of FA to not only really crack down on art theft but give the artist a chance to profit. Now under the same roof IMVU can intergrate FA into it's self in favor of the artists. It has the opertunity to allow the artost to offer their art on IMVU via FA. Thus taking away the opportunity for art theft and presenting the chance for profit for the artist.
How does this net IMVU money? Well you gotta buy the fake internet money to buy the image on IMVU so they get the money from that plus get a % of the sale to the artist. Granted I have no idea how fake imvu money converts to real $$$ but I'm sure there is an exchange somewhere.
This kinda segways into another way. Intergrated merchant services.
No having to leave fa to pay for a commission and improved site functionality and market place support. Artists no longer have to worry about pay pal shutting them down, taxes get easier, and it gives easier ways to do business. How does this make IMVU money? Well they probably wont force their fake internet money on FA so most likely a small 1 to 5 % fee on the transaction. When your just the middle man even pennies are profit.
Basicly from here it's just a descending list of possible ways to take advantage of merchant services being intergrated into FA and a team to do it and someone at the helm to puah for the right functionality to be implemented. Honestly who right now wouldn't love it if FA had auction support or patreon functionality built in? "Chip in roght here right now to unlock my full gallery!" Yes it's a pay wall but it's a pay wall that pays the artist and gets iMVU small fees for just existing.
TL:DR IMVU isn't going to be stupid and pay wall FA or steal your shit but probably try and get small fees out of it buy baking in merchant services.

People are not worried about if IMVU will make money off FA. It's the how, and it isn't about the stolen content.
The biggest fears are as follows:
FA's TOS will change in regards to what NSFW content can be posted
Advertisements will become intrusive
FA gains a subscription service of some kind
Personally, my biggest hope is as follows:
Dragoneer is now an employee of IMVU and can be held accountable for performance and service delivery, and can be fired and replaced.
Intrusive adds maybe but then again with some browser add ons I haven't seen adds in a long long time.
And I don't think a subscription service would work with a site like FA. It would only hurt more than it helps and there aren't many ways to implement it without killing the intent of the site and in doing that you drive all your money somewhere else. It's far more likely and effortless to be the middle man and just mke money for doing nada.
Dragoneer is an odd one. I like to reserve judgement on a person till I get to know them. I don't like to hate someone till I drink with them. I also don't want to assume he's going to fail or wasn't honestly trying his damndest all this time.
I mean valve is the poster child for not being open and having shitty customer service but everyone loves them. Maybe dragoneer needs more hats?
I don't know. Maybe I'm just not worried because I'm caught man in the middle on a major merger and watching how that is shaking down has given me and odd perspective on this issue. I'm just not ready to worry yet. I'm going to dare to dream. I did with warhammer when everyone was ready to bail on it and right now it's more fun than I've had in a lomg time
It really makes no sense for them to start fucking up FA knowing the free alternatives that are out there.
