And to answer your question, for what I have planned so far, it would be fleece with d-rings and plastic buckles. I also have some regular printed fabric I could use as well, and can easily get more of that.

And yeah, I have a fleece collar atm, and they are really comfy. It's probably the only collar I can tolerate for more than five minutes (Collars tend to drive me up the wall to the point that I have to rip them off).

For me, a collar is so close to my throat that I feel like I'm being choked, so I can't wear them for very long, or else I start tugging at it. If it's a looser collar, like the one I have, then I can tolerate it for longer periods of time.

Yeah, I will be getting to prototypes soon. Atm, I only have enough money to make one or two collars right away, so I want to see what I can do to make those few sell right away, and then I can buy more supplies with that and be a bit more open with making premades.
