There's an old adage that states, "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back."

I'm not quite sure how that works w/ Pandas, but this inquiring Panda mind would like to know some things and maybe some of you can shed some light on the subject with some feedback.

I would like to know, from those of you out there that currently are or have previously done so...

What initially peaked your interest in wearing a fursuit?
What do you like/dislike about it?
Are there any fursuiters you would recoommend/suggest?

Also...

How many of you have been to Fur Cons?

What are they all about?

What activities does one participate in at these Cons?

What would you say is the ratio between fursuits/non-fursuits?


My main reason for asking is because AnthroCon is being held July 9-12, 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA and I'm curious to know if anyone's ever been there before and whether it's worth checking out. I've been to Pittsburgh before and this is the closest and largest Fur Con that is closest in proximity to me (being only 3-4 hours driving distance away).
