I've been following the internet links. I've certainly never heard of it. A fair few people seem to think it is a hoax. I would certainly have expected more of it to have cropped up before now if it had been on tv.

That said, it does look to me like a cartoon I would have expected back then and heavily based on Usagi Yojimbo, but from the sheer anonimity of it, I'd have to label it suspcious.
