Store & Family Matters Update
Hey Guys,
So a few days ago we had to remove our store products due to paypal limiting the account in connection with it. It's an unfortunate turn of events for us, and has a couple of consequences for anyone interested in the projects otterface and I have been working on, which I'll get in to now!
If you're interested in any of our previously produced products, first up thank you for your interest! The support we've received from our art packs and portfolios has meant so much to us and kept a roof over our heads. Unfortunately we have no means of selling these for the time being, so they'll be unavailable until further notice.
This also means that we can't accept anymore funding for Family Matters in the way we were before. We currently don't have a solution for this, but we have a couple of options to consider that we'll be looking in to. There were a few pages that had been funded prior to the limitation, so they'll still be completed as promised.
This brings up an interesting issue, however; the problem of funding adult works in an ecommerce community that ultimately doesn't support it easily. Interestingly, even options like CCbill have limitations in what they'll allow. To name a few keywords: rape, incest, and bestiality.
For those of you who have watched my account for a while, you probably know I don't really take much issue when it comes to "taboo" topics such as these. I don't really put myself out there with a solid stance on things, but ultimately for me, it comes down to "Like whatever you want to like in fantasy. I'm not gonna judge you for liking something in your head." Of course this doesn't mean I support any of the topics I might draw in reality. I hope this doesn't need to be said more than once.
For now our priority is to complete the work we've promised. Family Matters will still be getting its two page update this week, and we'll be honouring the partially funded 26th page, allowing for two pages for the next week. How will pages proceed after that? I don't have an answer for you yet. Hopefully within two weeks we'll be closer to back on our feet, and will have a more solid answer then.
If anyone happens to have any potential suggestions that don't violate the payment providers TOS or AUP, then we'd love to hear about it!
Thanks for your understanding!

Another issue is storage. Forgot your password? Moneys gone. Hard drive died? Hope you have a backup. You can store them in an online wallet or exchange it something, but they don't have particularly good track records, and I don't believe any bitcoin company has shown they have the funds to recover if someone exploits security flaws.
With Bitcoin you just have to look for regulated exchanges such as Coinbase.com or Circle.com, where they are even fully insured against being hacked.
And there are several legit regulated services to handle payment processing such as bitpay, where they convert it to your local currency as it comes in automatically, removing all risk of the price volatility.
What puts people off is they are finally given full control over their own money, and with that power comes responsibility. If you've never been unfairly shut down, you probably wonder what the problem with the current system is. I'm not sure what to even say to people like that, I guess wait until you're a victim too, then maybe you'll wonder if there's an alternative.
Casual users should not be just using the raw thing, they should use something like coinbase, and enable 2FA and its pretty safe.
Basically you can thank Christian sexual repression and guilt.
I dont have any specific recommendations since I dont have an adult store for myself but I know a site I've bought from that uses this one in particular. There are lots of them and they usually just allow you to insert the checkout page wherever you want.
You could also ask, like, varka at bad-dragon what they use (or maybe making a deal with them to use some of their service).
Interestingly enough, when it comes to physical products like Bad Dragon dildos, the rules drastically change. As an example, Paypal will allow the sale of adult related physical goods, but not digital goods. This seems to be the case with a lot of services, so unfortunately asking Varka what service they use may not make that same service applicable to what we need.

Just a thought, I'm sure there's something out there that will let you do what you want long as its legal XP
Accessibility is definitely an issue. We're well versed in knowing that just one more step in buying something can lead to no purchase at all. That's certainly one of the major issues we take with bitcoin.
This really does put a damper on things. Hope you can find something that works well. Best of luck!
Thank you for the well wishes! We're hoping we'll find something suitable as well.
