I've been wanting to go to Sakuracon (or Rainfurrest) for years, but I can never work up the courage to go. And part of that is because I don't want to feel awkward being there by myself. :T

I feel that, I esp find it difficult to make friends at non-furry cons, but with RF if you are friendly and try to approach people you are almost guaranteed to leave knowing some new people!

I have been to a few fur meetups in the past half year and have met some people there, but I'm still too nervous to try and talk to them more often.

Also my other problem with going to cons, is that I've never gone to one, so I have no idea how to attend one. Like, do I have to pay to go? If so, where? Stuff like that. :T

I'll be there as a charmeleon wearing ash's coat, shirt and hat, please come say ello! This is an awesome convention and I all the excited! ^^

I hear good things about sakuracon. I'm saving up this year for an international trip tho.
