I think a lot of people just want to see positive change, and although there have been small site improvements we've overall have dealt with the same site issues for years now. I for one don't feel compelled to leave but I also feel that they really could improve this website overall by giving it the proper updates it needs. I guess people feel like if we all boycott the website then they'll make the changes that they want. Let's face it the most noticeable update to the site was the addition of the menu bar up at the top. People really do need to stop making excuses and instead leave for the right reasons if they're going to do it. I would perfectly understand if someone stated "I'm no longer going to use FA because of the lack of updates as well as the constant site performance issues." That would make way more sense than what people are carrying on about right now.

Also, I would be perfectly content if they just made a mobile version of the site so that when you're using a cellphone, handheld device, tablet etc. You wouldn't have to deal with the desktop layout. That and maybe clean up the UI, maybe allow more color themes to be used besides grey.

If anyone needs any proof of what I'm saying about no change btw here's an instant example... Check out the avatars to the left of the reply box. see the icon? If you look hard enough you'll notice that there are two there. THAT HAS LITERALLY BEEN LIKE THAT FOR YEARS lol! At least 6 years.

Well, ive been here since 2012 i think, and ive really havent seen any changes to the site until now with the new note system, the editable comments and the furaffinity watermark at the bottom of the site, but also a thing that i really like about the site is how light it is, my 3ds can load the site quickly and without any issues, that way i can always check for notes, replies and recent artwork, i can also submit my artwork from my 3ds instead of my pc which is on the living room, that makes it a lot less risky and more private, also i never noticed that icon issue, it took me a few seconds to see it, that surely is a pretty big issue, they could change them as well, i remember i used to be on a mexican furry board for a short period of time and they had icons like these but with foxes instead which was pretty cute.

That's what I like about the site as well. The fact that it's so light and allows devices like the 3DS to be used with it easily. I just think if they had a mobile user interface it would be even better to use with devices like the 3DS. I can also definitely relate to needing privacy.

Im not really sure about mobile interface, the 3ds doesnt work so well when it comes to sites like that, actually, the 3ds cant handle with about %95 of the websites, this, inflatechan, facebook ( mobile) and e621( mobile ) are the only things that works for 3ds properly for me, the 3ds runs out of memory right away

Really, for me, I simply don't want anything to do with that attention seeking, bad decision making, self-proclaimed king of furries ego maniac fat fuck Dragoneer. Simply by having created this account and adding myself to the statistics, I've given him something to jerk off to at night when he's scrolling through his administration account, banning people left and right, kissing asses and trying to make more of a name for himself on the internet.

The only reason I haven't deleted this account is because I'd be losing contact with great artists like yourself that stick around and don't upload their art anywhere else cause they don't give a shit and ignore the fat retarded king of this shit castle.
I don't blame you, it took you years to gather this many watchers and page views and you'd be giving up all but 20% of them or so if you moved to an empty half-finished site like Weasyl or Inkbunny. And that's why Dragoneer wins and gets his kicks.

Thats a great example, i dont want to lose my followers, ive been trying my best to get as many followers as possible, i remember i got pretty excited when i got over 20000 pageviews, and if i leave this site ill lose everything, its like wasting 3 years of my life.

yyyeah if you feel that way, just don't listen to the dumbasses that lie and tell you that your entire fanbase will follow you if you make an account on whatever alternative to FA. They're just so asshurt and so desperate for the failed competitors to succeed that they shill far and wide and no amount of misinformation is beneath them.
Maybe that'll change in the next year, maybe the next decade, but I doubt it. FA was simply the first big furry gallery and it'll probably remain the biggest gallery simply because of that small fact forever, no matter how garbage the administration, moderation and mechanics of the site are. This site's been stuck in the late 80's forever and everyone here couldn't care less.

Just remember, numbers mean a lot less than people actively enjoying your stuff, and if you go somewhere, those folk will follow you. Don't let FA's lil statistics dictate your behavior. A page view just means "someone clicked a link that has your art on it", it doesn't mean they liked it or are a fan or anything.

I didn't tell them to leave fa, hell, I still post here too, I just like to warn people about getting to involved in number games, I've seen people get so obsessed with specific numbers/pageviews/favorites that it kinda fucks them up.

FA definitely has more people, thus more people to enjoy your stuff, but that's what you pay attention to, not the numbers they attribute to.
