Chevrolet to end production of the Corvette.
It saddens me as a GM guy to say that the Corvette will be ended with the C7. Citing rampant rumors persisting of a mid engine Vette and the car to become its own brand, GM has said they have heard enough and will end production in 2018, 65 years after the first car rolled off the assembly line floor.
FA+

Nope.
Mustang and Corvette
Just because I didn't like a joke doesn't mean I lack a sense of humor. IT means the joke was poor and uncreative - almost every automotive news site will have a joke article reporting something like this. It happens EVERY YEAR. It's beyond old.
It's THOUSANDS of dumb jokes in a single stupid day. The majority made by people who think they're the most brilliant jokes ever made and get confused when they piss people off with it.

Oh. of course it is.
April Fools!
Gonna be honest-it's not like it would hurt aside from sales. The new Corvette (like most new cars) is really unimpressive as far as looks go. I miss the 80's or even 90's style 'Vette's. So many sportscars look alike these days.
As a tech who spent three years building these fucking awful cars for their even more awful owners, I can honestly say I hate them.
Both the cars and "vette people."
I'd be down to see a Trans Am revival, though.
