Incase any Smash Bros fans missed the Nintendo Direct last night, allow me to tell you what went down and what's to come...
1. Mewtwo's trailer was at the very start of the Direct which was amazing and a great way to kick things off with a bang. For those who registered Smash Brothers for both Wii U and 3DS onto Club Nintendo shall get both of their free Mewtwo codes on April the 15th but for those that didn't will be able to purchase the DLC on April the 28th.
2. As if that wasn't enough, after Mewtwo's trailer, they played a new trailer for another character coming back which was... LUCAS!!! Yes, Mother/Earthbound fans shall be very happy that their beloved Mother 3 hero shall be returning to Ness' aid and being awesome. I will say that I am also very excited that Lucas is back as he is a cool and cute character and wonder what his moves shall be now. Lucas shall become available at somepoint in June so get excited people.
3. Now, they said that there will be a third character that shall be coming to the roster... BUT! They have left it to us, the fans, to decide who that third character shall be. I shall put the link to the voting page at the bottom of the journal. I am quite glad that Nintendo has chosen to let us decide who we want to come into the roster which shows that they care about what we want and are willing to listen to what we have to say.
4. Also, from April 15th, another purchaseable DLC pack shall become available which contains new outfits for our Miis like Dunban, Majora's Mask, Protoman, Megaman X and other fan favourites.
So much is to come this year from Nintendo and I sure as am pumped and hyped for all of this as I am super excited. I'll also post a link below to the Nintendo Direct on YouTube (both UK one and the USA one) and they are 48 minutes long.

I have already voted for Roy from Fire Emblem: Binding Blade. I was hoping Roy would return as I loved using him in Melee and I believe he deserves to be back in Smash. But I am not gonna force anyone to vote for him because that would be unfair and shallow of me, but i will say if you don't know who to vote for, Roy could be taken into consideration as he was a great character. But you should vote for who you want to see join the battlefield but the character you vote for has to be a video game character.
This should go without saying but I don't want to see arguements in the comments please.

If both Roy and Rayman make it in then I'd be perfectly happy as Mewtwo, Roy and Rayman are the three characters I mostly want as DLC and since Mewtwo made it in and Lucas also came back, I am hoping Roy and Rayman make it in too.
Mario vs. Sonic vs. Pac-Man vs. Mega Man vs. Rayman = life complete
(and they did say additional CHARACTERS :D)
Hehehe, I'm looking forward to Mewtwo vs Lucario, Mewtwo vs Dr Mario, Roy vs Marth vs Lucina vs Ike vs Robin, Rayman vs Captain Falcon vs DK vs Little Mac which'll be entertaining
Mhm, true, so there's multiple chances for our favourite characters to get in. I think they are trying to say that this'll be the very last installment of Super Smash Brothers ever and they are trying to add as many of our favourites as they can that the gameing consoles can handle.
Mewtwo Vs. Greninja and Lucario. Oh yes, entertaining and sweet.... I'm getting him the 15th, too! :D
Maybe, especially because Sakurai is getting really tired, he's put lots of time and effort into this one.
Oh yeah, Mewtwo vs Greninja vs Lucario will be sweeet. Me and Zero are getting him on the 15th and we ill be facing each other with no practicing. After a few matches we will be changing up the move sets that will fit with our play styles and then have a few matches. We'll then have a few matches where one of us is Mewtwo and the other is Lucario and switching around a few times for the fun of it. I am looking forward to kicking butt with Mewtwo once again.
Sakurai did also damage his right arm so he had to work using his left arm. Sakurai was very dedicated and determined to make this the best one in the series and I think the Smash team are very proud of this installment.
Mewtwo will be a new main of mine alongside Shulk, Mr. G&W, and R.O.B.
I know he did, i feel really bad, especially because he just wont quit. I appreciate the DLC and all, but still...
You also main Shulk *hugs*. I'm deadly with Shulk as he's been my main for ages. I love Xenoblade on the Wii and I also am loving it on the 3DS. I'm currently watching a Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii version) LP (again XD) as I type this.
Mhm, but it just goes to show that he cares a lot for his fans.
Btw, have you seen my latest journal I posted about an update on the character ballot?
I do, i do. I love him so much. I'm better with R.O.B and Mr. Game & Watch, though.
