Claudia_VialOkay so let me tell you about the last week for me.
Started with me waiting finding out what I have been in horrible pain due to having gout caused by sugar (which is like it was crystalizing my blood stream and sticking me like a thousand tiny needles all over my body). So, now I can no longer eat cookies, biscuits, chocolate, candy, sugar, soda, cake pastries or chips. I have had a sugar free week and that is making me feel so without energy its not funny.
Then my mother calls and tells me my mothers partner has a brain tumour. Which rocked me pritty hard. I mean, I know I complain about him but the dude has done a lot for me and he's like family and a great friend. The doctor said its curable but its still hard to hear.
Then my boss calls me in and says, "While you were away sick we noticed its not entirely important for you to be here. So, finish up what you're doing here and we don't have a job for you. You're leaving in a few months to go over seas so, we don't want to move you to another job in the company because you're not going to hang around. Finish up by the end of the month and then you're out" After a year an a half of helping that company grow from a business in a guys basement to an interstate business this is the thanks I get. They originally, wanted me to finish yesterday but I convinced them to give me some time to finish what I'm doing at least. Good luck to the net shlub who has to do what I was doing and whatever job they are doing now. They'll see how important I was, maybe not right away but they will in a few months when all the data goes to shit and the sales guys have no one to call.
Then, my pay didn't come through on time which means I can't go see my mum and her partner and see how they are doing because I got no petrol. Not to mention we also can't eat till some kind of money comes in!
And last kick in the crotch came this morning when my land lord called and said, "Oh hey, you know while you were away because the place was getting renovated because the pipes went to shit? Yeah, well, you owe us rent for one of the two weeks you weren't here. Give me money." Like wtf!? They said we wouldn't have to pay rent till we were back and they didn't tell us we could come back till well after that week.
Seriously. I can't wait to go to America. I need a good change in my life right now.
