Might be a bit too risque...MIGHT be (Samus is pretty nubile in her Zero Suit and mecha stripper heels). I just hope people don't flud a crap load of anime characters in there (which they will), especially since many of them have there own fighting games (Goku, Naruto etc...).

Unfortunately I think Minda would be a long shot even if she won. Same with WarioWare's Ashley, Dark Samus, or Tingle. They're all assist trophies so there's that.

With any luck they'll bring Midna back in a mainline Zelda with Amiibo support.

Well trophy is one thing. Fighters have multiple trophies. Assists are items that spawn in game. So if you have characters that are both fighter and assist trophy you could be playing as, say, Midna, then pick up an assist trophy and out comes Midna. It's Midnas all the way down.

But hey, could be wrong. Sakarai said he wouldn't put in characters who had assist trophies, but he also said Mewtwo wasn't going to be in it, there would be no clone characters, and that there wasn't going to be DLC, so who knows.

I don't think that really matters in the bigger scheme of things though, I'm pretty sure that if any of the current Assist Trophies gets enough votes he/she could become a playable character, also Shadow as a AT sucks, he just copies the function of the watch (only difference is that Shadow never acts against who summoned him).

Ganondorf has been a clone three games running. Koei Tecmo tried ONCE and succeeded in giving him a fuck awesome moveset where he uses dual swords AND magic. There is no excuse for him to be a clone after a whole decade.

Falco uses a Landmaster instead of an Arwing. This was inexcusable in Brawl, why is it okay here?

DK uses bongos that were only ever actually used by him in Donkey Konga, which was dated even when Brawl came out. Where is his boss pummel from Dong Returns or Dong Freeze?

Or how about Wario? Wario doesn't do a fucking thing he's supposed to do. Where is his zombie ability? Where is fat wario? Burning wario? Where is his pimpalicious car? Where is him running like a fucking maniac or shaking the shit out of you to take your cash? WHERE IS HIS SHOULDER CHARGE? Or, ya know, ANYTHING that has actually been in a Wario game?

I have a feeling he actually was in the process of making Ridley a playable character, but when he realized it'd "take effort" and people would ream him something fierce since Ganondorf is STILL a clone.

I mean, Ridley isn't treated the same as any of the bosses. metalface, yellow devil, any of the bosses can be defeated ,but Ridley has proper stage interaction, he has friend/foe programming, has a win/loss icon, and is 'launched' off when he's defeated.

This is a hard decision for me I have this 4 way clash between Birdo, Barbara the Bat, Krystal, Captain N, I know he's not a fur but heck I'm not all furry myself, I think these candidates would be perfect for being the next character to appear.

I voted for Simon Belmont. I hope a lot of other people did too, but I'm expecting more for Banjo-Kazooie, Mega Man X and Dr. Wily/other Mega Man characters
