Ulario, Your Fetishes, and YOU (semi-rant)

I can’t believe I need to make this journal, but since I’ve actually had an increase about people sending me notes and messages about this and it’s starting to make me bitchy, here we are.
I’ve actually had several people lately contacting me and asking me to alter my work or change the way that I draw things in order to suit “their” fetish.
So, we need to get a few things straight…
1. While you are very passionate about your fetishes, keep in mind that not everyone is as passionate about it as you are.
2. I’m asexual with absolutely zero interest in sex and fetishes.
3. I try to keep a (relatively) clean image.
4. If you have fetishes, good for you. I won't judge you because of it. I personally have no interest in hearing about them let alone changing myself to draw them.
5. Unless you’ve commissioned me for a picture, it is not my job to please you and cater to your every whim. And even in that case, it’s only my job to please you for what you’ve commissioned.
6. Asking an artist to completely change what they do in order to suit your own interests is pretty douche and rude.
So… yeah. I’m at my wits end about this, so any further inquiries about asking me to change my art to suit your own personal fetishes will be answered by my middle finger.
EDIT: I don't think I was entirely clear on the situation. They weren't asking for fetish commissions. They were basically asking me to change my entire way of drawing to suit their fetish... be it my personal work, commissions for other people, or otherwise.

FA+

And that's sure isn't something that can simply be ignored
The rest... That's entirely your call.
They basicallt ask me to change the way that I normally draw any picture that I do be it personal work, commissions for other people or otherwise.
I dunno why, but it seems like the art community is... Getting kinda ridiculous. Everyone has to complain about everything. Maybe its just me haha. But, I think things are getting ridiculous. I see more and more of these kind of journals from artists, and it's sad that people need to be pestered like this.
Your art is incredible the way it is. People can go buzz off if they think you need to change.
Different artists for different things, usually many seem to get that but I suppose there's the minority who doesn't.
Sounds like some are simply too self-delusional and believe their entitled to have their way. Wonder how many of them also complain about an artist not doing freebies or, if they do, how the complainers are never picked.
I do like the suggestion above. ...will be met with the middle finger... if only they could see you flipping off the monitor!
Sorry you've been harassed by folks who've got no business doing so in the first place. I keep getting one particular user asking me to draw underwater sex (which is funny cos I've never drawn a sex scene and my few attempts have been just bloody awful XD) or, alternatively, asking me to ask a dear friend on here (who I'll leave anonymous for now. They've got enough stress right now.) to draw my char and theirs having underwater sex. Seriously? After multiple declines and the reminder that our chars are just our chars and while portraying them together has provided some fun and funny images, we aren't actually together IRL? Neither of us draw stuff like that so yeah. Take the hint sheesh.
Hmmm yknow maybe we will give in....and draw ourselves doing it in the ocean ...and all you see is our heads and shoulders cos hey, ocean water is dark and all and ya can't see below the surface. ;)
Some folks just don't know how to take no for an answer. *sigh*
I find my head spinning when I see someone having to write something like this. As you have said, you do not have a reputation as a fetish artist, you do not have a gallery of such drawn by you and you do not have a gallery of work you have commissioned by others of such, you flag yourself as 'Not Yiffy' and 'No Creepy Comments' and highlight you dislike RP.... so the whole idea seems completely bonkers. It would make little sense for someone to out of the blue to try to commission you for this type of work and absolutely no sense to think you would suddenly do it for free for no apparent reason other than they demand it.
Why do I have the urge to grab the proverbial 4x2 piece of lumber labelled "Clue Stick" and go have a talk with someone?
Please be assured that there are many of us out there who appreciate artists who are also storytellers like yourself who produce good artwork with the bonus of them being characters with stories to them. While I watch a quite few artists, for a number of them I know I miss a fair amount of their work because I usually use the SFW mode, this is not an issue I have with your work and I take that as a good thing, believe me.
I hope this journal has some effect and you cease to get these pointless and frankly mindless messages.
I myself watch your art because of your style, and beacuse you're a clean artist that doesn't do all that weird fetishy stuff that is considered "clean" that clogs my inbox and forces an unwatch.
Don't feed the trolls. XD
I always take what a artist draws into account before asking for a commish.
Like, for random obvious example: Asking a chibi artist for a snuff picture is prolly not the most logical step.
The only thing I really ever except of an artist is to be willing to go all the way, and not half-ass their work. Unless they can give a good explanation to it.
