Mmm well first off, figure I'd start posting more journals here at least, especially since RL's been busy and my writing has been rather slow due to writers block and lots of distractions XD. Either way, things are going ok I suppose, working still and trying my best to get back on my writing horse, a few things have been a bit off n blah, but nothing I want to worry anyone with. Other than that I have been working on my writing more, trying to get another chapter of something up, whether it is a story I already have or a new one. Other than that just been sorta relaxing and rolling about on FA.

In other news, I have been a huge Steven Universe fan since it premered and for some reason the idea of my gemsona never really crossed my mind. The only reason it really came up is I started seeing lots of art for it and when my room mate asked me about it I figured it'd be lots of fun to try and come up with one... I truthfully dunno if the gemsona would ever get art but I figured it'd be fun to try and come up with an idea for one!

So far my only ideas are that it may still be a furry, since they do have transformation powers, there is nothing that says they can't be whatever the hell they want or that they have to take a human form. I like the idea of Lapis admitedly, having the capability of manipulating the elements, and while I do like water, I decided to try and venture off to be at least a little more creative with it rather than just being another Lapis gem. So with that I started looking up different gem types, and in the end I decided to use my birth gemstone! Although I love blue, I am actually an Emerald as far as my birth gemstone goes! For a weapon I decided it be something that is related to what she can manipulate, which ended up being plants, her weapon being chains that she can manipulate as if they were vines/tentacles.

So I ended up putting a character stat sheet together

Name: Verda Emerald (Heh a bit silly with it being a play on words for green, Verda was a slight variation on the word "Verde" which is spanish for green, so her name would be Green Emerald XD)
Height: 5 ft 5-7 inches
Preferred Form: Verda considers herself a very powerful shapeshifter, even among other gems, but she mainly is either in a furry feline form or a human one, on some occasions even a feral feline.
Color Pallet: Different tints of green
Weapon: Chains (usually with some sort of end piece like a hook, blade, or sphere, etc. They come from her gem and like to coil around her arms and either come out just at her shoulder blades, or from her hands)
Special Abilities: Plant manipulation, Self Regeneration, body material manipulation (can change her form to a harder or softer substance at will), body form manipulation (She is able to change form even to things that don't necessarily have a verified shape with, such as blobs or tentacles.)
Gem Location: in her cleavage in bipedal forms, or in the chest area of anything she changes into that doesn't have mammaries.
Likes: chatting, yummy food stuffs, sweets, books, beaches, plants, animals, cuddling.
Dislikes: Fighting (she will fight though if it is to protect others or herself if need be, but she doesn't enjoy it.) (Her dislikes are very few, and are more related to situations than set things.)
