Ud be critisized for lack of originality. You can twist the idea tough starting with the name, close purpose and all but simply making it fur wouldnt do much. You can go further than that.

There is a way to modify it tough, im sure there are plenty of anthro characters in disney that werent used in KH, maybe even kicking disney out and using Bluth's world instead.
