That is a good price for those. I really need to get another NES. That was my first ever game console. So many happy memories I have playing it.

I've been borrowing a friend's for a few months and I look at it every once in a while and think "I wonder if she'd let me buy this" but I wouldn't want to take it away from her.

I've wanted one for years. I even have the NES 3DS. xD

Yeah I can understand that feeling. Sometimes I want something my friend has but I know they may not like the idea of parting with it. Only occasionally will a friend give me something since they don't want it. I got my NES from my second grade teacher. I guess her kids didn't want it anymore so I was given it. I know you will find lots of fun, enjoyment and hours spent playing the games on your own NES. I had seen that 3DS and thought about getting one myself.

I'm pretty late to this, but let me just say I'm pretty jealous of you. Having a parent that likes games, retro or what-not, sounds really sweet. I've never had that level of interaction with my mother and ESPECIALLY with my father, considering how much I loved games when I was young, and still do now. Not that I love them any less, mind you, but I think I would have been a little bit happier in a way, if my parents were book-smart when it came to video games.

In any case, I do hope that you've managed to pick up some games since then! I, unfortunately, don't have any except for a copy of the old X-Men Genesis game that I managed to find when I was cleaning up my room in NY, and even then, it's stuck in NY while I'm in Florida. If you're willing to spend some money, though, may I recommend Play N' Trade for retro games in general, if you can manage to find a store in your area?

Probably not that store exactly but there is a place an hour or so away that would sell those sort of games. I need to go sometime.

I've bought two games since this but there's a few friends who are gonna send me things. xD
