I love it! I don't commission it as often because errors are so much more difficult to fix, and I've had many instances of character design errors that the artists could/would not fix :C But sometimes I can't resist. I absolutely adore marker art if it's done well~
YES!
and when it happens to be tidma art... ldiuojhuliodhj which reminds me... i pitched an idea for you some time ago, do you like watercolors? because it would be awesome! :3
By “traditional art” I suppose you mean expressive artefacts forged without the direct involvement of information technology, especially computers and tablets. Considering the vast, vast history spanning thousands of years across countless cultures and land masses, and the plethora of masterful objects imbued with the spirit, intelligence and skill of creators as varied as the works themselves, then yes: I suppose I do like it. Why wouldn't I?
Traditional preferred. I love the real textures of paint, graphite, charcoal, papier mache, clay, and so on! Even the flat things like marker and ink just have something about them over digital. I know digital has the reputation for being clear. crisp, clean, easy to fix, and so on, but it still can't compare to traditional for me.
i think with stuff like that i'd probably do a digital mock up if possible first can understand the risk of charcter flaws with traditional xD
