So I really just want to get this off my chest and if you don't want to read, don't read it then. If you're going to be hateful in the comments, just move along, I don't need any high and mighty "NO ONE'S MARKINGS ARE ORIGINAL NYEH NYEH NYEH". Just no.
So recently this account that my husband, Toxic, and I watch, their "mate" just made an account so of course we're like OOH LET'S CHECK THAT OUT TOO! We were met with...what I'm going to describe as BLATANT marking and color scheme theft off of Yue. The account was made LONG after I made this one and posted my art and refs....see the thing is, I get a lot of art from an artist they also commission a lot, so I of course put 2 and 2 together and figured they saw Yue through said artist's page, wouldn't surprise me.
Why I'm so mad is that, unlike another issue I've had before with this issue, they didn't even TRY to cover that they stole my patterns. No alteration of color, no obvious alterations to the point that they could be overlooked.....even the fucking EYES ARE THE SAME COLOR...like... Everytime I see the character it makes me sick because I'm like COULD YOU BE LESS ORIGINAL? OR CREATIVE????
I'm not even the one who looked at it and said this first! Freaking Toxic saw the account, looked at the art and was like "They stole your design."
It's just so bothersome because Yue is so special to me as a character because I spent FOREVER making her on paper through tooooons of trial and error and then BAM someone just takes her design idea for their own....it's just really frustrating.
I'm obviously not going to tag who it is or willingly give up the name. I want this to NOT blow up. I just simply wanted to put out there that I'm disappointed in the person for their blatant lack of creativity.

But this one omfg....like the neck marking, the eyes and their markings...like WHY NOT TAKE MY NAME TOO? @_@;
Someone had copied the outlines of one of my pics and tried to do a ych sale on it. And they denied that it looked exactly alike. So I now have a warning on my page.
Maybe you should put a warning on yours :3
Like I have it on her freaking refs "DO NOT COPY HER DESIGN" but like....jerks who can't come up with their own designs aren't going to listen to that... ;n;
they're just like pffft you love your oc and spent hours grueling over her design? THANKS FOR DOING MY WORK FOR ME *snatch*

It's sad that we can't share art with everyone because of jerks like that :(
