Well played Capcom.
Not much to say by the way, I've been busy.

Howdy folks, I'm in back for another journal to talk about - random stuff surprisingly! Well, my status.
Elated to try Mortal Kombat X and I DID! my thoughts? It's fun, the gore is ridiculous but I'm desensitized, the story, I tried it a little. Quick time events are silly~
Looking at the controversy over the easy fatalities and stuff? I don't see a big deal out of it. It doesn't need to be in a triple A game? Well, in my opinion - the option is there, if nobody buys it, they'd probably drop that tactic. There's no business there. They're not forcing you to buy it and the way you perform fatalities is free.
Probably people are now going to say: Well it's greedy. Well, you may have a valid point but it's nothing we can argue about because we can't be conclusive either way - lacking proof both sides unless you consider anything like in game purchases proof then I guess it's one valid way to see it.
Mercifully, I shall spare you the rant about Mortal Kombat X. Haha, my status being elated to try Mortal Kombat X, so silly of me.
Enticing enough to talk about Mortal Kombat X, I shall move onto miscellaneous things!
Pretty much what you're expecting next.
Lame? You think game designer quotes are lame!? I'll be honest, I get them from a source, I didn't make them up. Here's proof: http://i.imgur.com/6uX201i.png
Eh, they can be but...
Ah what the heck?
So, a quote from Kojima Hideo! (He's behind Metal Gear Solid): Games are a study about people. http://i.imgur.com/RxGwXDN.png
Enough of that right? NO! Well maybe. Stay safe everyone, take care!

[Activity]
I made this account back in 2011, it's only now starting to be much more active. I thought an account like this with not much activity would be removed but hey, it's active-ish now.
Abhorrently inactive I was, I'm still quite busy but I can do some art on the side. Busy with study and all, I think you folks know and understand that. Apologies to all my watchers.
Meh, anyways, I recently tried animating with flash for the first time and it wasn't that hard at all! Though I fiddled with it, I finally got a basic animation without that gif quality drop. I avoided that by exporting a gif using the png sequence generated by flash.
So, about commissions, right now I don't take commissions. I'm new to FA, I don't feel confident in my works to do commissions and I'm bad at handling money and stuff you know? And with all the time I have, it's quite difficult to put more on my plate right now. But with some spare time, I may draw randomly for friends with some gift art but yeah, but they're mostly quick to make. Hopefully that's understandable.
And a note to end on: A quote from Igarashi Koji (Guy behind Castlevania)
Games are like baths, without them, we would get sick.
Definitely an awesome quote! At least I think so. Hahaha!

Over Simplification? Why?
Well, this is a rant for fun, I haven't really anything to do so here's a rant if you're interested.
Lately I've been on Guild Wars 2, like usual but anyways, I was in PvP lobby and I wasn't talking, I was just observing and I'm starting to see a pattern I really despise.
Oversimplification. Let me elaborate.
A player goes and asks ... how do I play X?
The response: Easy! Press A repeatedly and win!
Literally, 80% of all responses are this. Why? Does this make you smart? It's not even necessarily true. This is when I broke my silence, I decided to question this guy. I ask him: oh, can you elaborate? - to paraphrase. His response? "You press X when ... Y happens. Make sure when Z is ready." to paraphrase.
Completely, it's not simple anymore.
Then it hit me, it is not the respondent that are being idiots simplifying things, it's the player asking the question. It's too general.
So, the moral of the story, if you're going to ask questions in PvP, be prepared to make a specific question so that players can answer it sufficiently.
However, my point still stands about people oversimplifying things. It can still happen if you ask specific questions.
I mean.. I think it's a given, right? What a sub par journal. :(
