I was watching Bones today, and the episode was about a killer that followed the book that Brennan wrote when it came down to committing his crimes. Watching this episode makes me wonder if all of the forensic shows on tv could be giving criminals the means and information to circumvent forensic scientists. I'm just curious about it since I'm studying to be one (a forensic scientist, not a criminal). What do y'all think?

I think it might have some affect, but barely notacible. If a guy plans on being carefull in the crime hes going to commit, and uses a tv show as a referance it would be almost the same as looking it up online. What I meani s the source of this information might be different, but it is always available.
