I'm not sure there is a place specifically for commissioners though.

Although if it's just lost contact after bidding, and no work has been done, that's not really a case for there. It's more on your end whether or not to accept future bids from them.

I think someone should make an auction-backout list where people can report those who back out of auction wins, though.

I totally agree. The worst feeling is to have someone win or AB a slot and then back out (or worse, no contact at all). Once I waited three days to put a slot up for re-auction, and they acted like it -I- was the rude person, even when my auction rules state payment has to be received within 24 hours. x_x

But yeah.. maybe someone can make a journal/something where folks can go to report people who abuse folks' good faith in bidders here (since there's no way to lock in bids like on ebay_.

Artist beware is for commissioner bewares too I believe. If you scroll down the page, it lists artists, then commissioners as well that have been submitted.

I dunno, I guess I'm just a push over or something. I was reading a complaint from someone who was pissy over a $2 commission that they escalated to the point of getting a refund over. I can't understand it... I really can't. I've lost more money than that in vending machines but I never like, tanked Coca-Cola's reputation over it.

Being that I know this person you speak of Ms. Fleki. I know the whole story behind why they didn't pay on time and the reasoning might make you change your mind considering this person has gotten art from several other artists and always payed ahead of schedule or on time. I know because one the artists they commissioned before you is a good friend of mine and a United States Marine. The reason behind their late/absent payment is because they had their aunt a few hours after they won your YCH in question try and commit suicide in front of them. Now, I don't know about you but having seen someone die myself. It's a very traumatic experience and I can only guess what was going through his mind at the time. Yes he should have let you know. But I think given the circumstances it can be forgiven and understood. While yes it is not my place to say what should or should not be done. He is just very upset by this and feels rather bad thinking you have blocked and reported him. So just next time try and just get the full story. As I mentioned previously I live in the same town as this person no less than ten minutes away.

And yes, all this shows at least that he isn't asshole. That's why I don't report him anywhere, that's why there is no his name in this journal. He isn't banned from my page or anything.
I just banned him from my auctions, because he broke it's rules. Because I know that faving porn for him is more important than answering notes from me. I don't want it to happen again, that's why he is banned from now.

The timeframe of my posting was mearly coincidence. I apologise for any misunderstanding as far as that goes. I can vouch myself that his aunt indeed was in serious condition I don't know the time frame of when all this happened as far as the auction go but thank you for not causing up a whole mess of drama like some others would have. I merely stated my take on this based on what he told me. The reasons you stated as well are very sound and understandable. Thank you for your time Fleki

It's not just about you, sir. He also answered to my third note, in which I said that he lost his slot and ability to attend in the future. Previous notes where I asked him to answer to me he read but ignored.
I didn't intended to make any drama, and as you see here is nothing like that. I've been asking what to do in said situation and never sent anyone in a way of your friend. I could, if I'm a bitch. Tho I'm not, I'm just a regular person, I want to do my job and get money for it. Even if reasons are sad and I fully can understand them, silence of your friend made several people wait (me and another person who won second slot), he made me being enable to do my job. Excuse note with short explanation would never made me mad or never would cause him being banned.
Sadly, I have no time to wait weeks and wonder if something happened in this person life or he is just an asshole. Because for me in a couple of day it was clear situation: he comes to fa, browses his submissions, faves porn, opens my notes and never answers. What would you think?
If he never comes to FA, never faves anything nor opens my notes, I would have an idea that something IRL happened.

I guess there is sometimes a person who just want to make a little storm around the artist he/she likes.
Like showing he/she is admiring the artist that way.
Strange but situations like that mostly comes down to simply gather some attention.

A shame that the quiddity of things is so simple.
