Back in High School
It gets harder every day, and yet so much easier as well. I'm at a loss.
So... I went back to my high school to help my Forensic Science teacher with her class. The school has changed a lot, and mostly it isn't for the better. Back when I was in class, teachers could take cell phones away from students and the students would have to pay a fine for having their phone out. Now, teachers can't take phones away because the school wants students to learn more online, but apparently the administration is too stupid to realize that the kids don't use their cell phones for that.
Also, I know I'm not all that old, but when I was a kid in high school, I was not allowed to behave so poorly or I got sent to the principal's office. By the time we got to seventh period today, none of the kids were doing any work and they were just goofing off. It was really sad to see, because Forensic Science was probably my favorite class in high school.
Oh, and my teacher told the students that there was a piece of evidence nobody had checked out all week, and it happened to be at the station I was at. I wouldn't tell the students what it was, and the problem is that this is going to be on the test. I wasn't allowed to tell them though because it was on the handouts they received yesterday. One girl says "well, what is it?" and I replied that I couldn't tell her. So she said "I wasn't talking to you. I don't even care." I said "you'll care when you fail." And she went ballistic on me for calling her stupid... I wasn't calling her stupid though. I was calling her lazy.
Gah... It frustrates me to see kids who are supposed to be adults acting like that.

I don't necessarily want corporal punishment, but I do want there to be some kind of system. Allowing phones in class is just retarded.

Well that's because you're awesome, Zoey-chan. My teacher was laughing along with me and the other helpers while the idiotic children fought among themselves. College will be a wake up call for them.

Haha very true. After all, Daddy already had to save one kid that was in my class. His dad was on the school board, so they conveniently "forgot" that he was involved with the bomb at my school.

Yeah, basically. Today's classes were a little better today though.
