We found a glorious home, at the very last possible minute lol
Just happened to be driving past when we saw a tiny "For rent" sign on the house and on a tree..
We called the owner who showed it to us 20 minutes later. We fell in love. We love the house, The people we are renting from and just about everything that goes along with it. I need so much stuff, and it costs more than what we were renting so i need to try to help make up the difference more, but i'm loving this place. Only downside is a big apartment complex across the street. But they seem rather quiet and calm. No problems yet.
We've renamed Patches to Pickles. Her neck is healed, just looks like a white scar now, she's fully fixed and up to date on her shots. The dogs play together like total hams.
Kiwi loves the house, brute loves the house.. and now my only conundrum is affording a tile floor scrubber. I saw one at the store and need to get it.
No pet deposit on the house because of the beautiful tile all throughout.. but i have no ways other than a bucket to clean it.. and it was dirty when we moved in lol.
They've already had the roof replaced like a week ago. They are awesome land lords, and the more stuff we replace and fix, the more they take off the rent. Love it :D
did i mention, she loves halloween as much as i do lololol

It's beautiful! it's at least 400sqft bigger than the old house, as well as a huge actually properly put together garage with garage door that opens on it's own and we have a door from our garage to the yard as well as one into the house.. so if the dogs are being muddy brats they can come in through the garage and not the house. We love it!
They had the roof replaced and are awesome. They are dropping 200 off the rent next month since we fixed two fans she couldn't manage to get fixed while she lived here.. lol She's just awesome. Really nice, and we got to be her first renters in her house. She was moving out when we were looking to rent it :D

We found out that our old Landlord lied to us.. We were getting mail for four months BEFORE we were told he had to "sell the properties" for these two people we hadn't gotten for in the past.. those are the people living there now.. We are friends with the neighbor next door and he informed us of them.. the rage about being lied to was just.. insane. but really, we made out better.. I'm sure they are paying easily 1400$ a month for that crappy place with a guy who wont fix anything and won't pay for repairs that need done for safety reasons.. I am just so happy we found this house and the land lady. She's like my age LOL
