1. Your first OC ever?
If we’re talking about active OC’s I would have to say either Flame or Nemphis. Flame was the first to really manifest himself with a proper personality and design, while Nemphis has always kind of been floating in the back of my mind. Guess I always subconsciously wanted to make a character like him haha.
2. Do you have a personal favorite among your OCs?
I kind of like them all equally – but I think the characters I enjoy drawing and writing the most are Steven and Elliott. I love dark and twisted characters.
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
No, I don’t think so. Be sure to punch me if I have.
4. A character you rarely talk about?
Remi’s old ex/assistant Jane Crabs, Most of the parents in Torpid, The side characters in Elliott and Steven’s stories…. Basically the ones that haven’t been properly developed or introduced yet.
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
Oh man, I don’t really know! I guess I would like to see the Torpid characters break through, seeing as they are my most known characters so far.
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
Elliott and Ivy look a lot alike (they’re both foxes and have very similar colours and markings), which is kind of creepy considering they’ve been in a relationship together. Narcissistic much? :p
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
Yes! They all pretty much belong to a story. There’s Torpid, then there’s Elliott’s gangster story and Steven’s story. There are a few of them who currently only belong in a universe without a story, like Nemphis and The Horned Crow.
8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here!
I haven’t really ever had the chance to RP :0 If anyone is up for it, go for it.
9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
I tried once with Bridget, but no one wanted her XD I took her in again and now I’m in love with her.
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
Nemphis’ body is pretty difficult to draw and The Horned Crow’s bling gives me a lot of trouble. Also Yuda. I still kind of suck at drawing Komodo Dragons.
11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”?
Michael – hands down. Even in tough times, he’s a hardcore optimist. He always tackles problems with a smile on his face and a “I can do it!” attitude. If anyone is ever down, Michael will try his hardest to cheer them up.
12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot
Oh man – so many! XD I don’t think I can name them all.
13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Hah! Again – so many (sorry mom) Elliott is the head honcho of a huge criminal organization, Steven is a psychotic murderer, Flame and Remi run a drug empire in the middle of Kennade, Michael was involved in a lot of shady business before, Triplus went to juvenile jail twice and Nemphis eats people. I think I may have forgotten some XD
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory
Every single one of them haha. I guess I can talk a little about Flame’s past. Flame, born Cam, grew up in a villa next to a big swamp. His father (but not really gaaasp. This is why Flame doesn’t look much like a porcupine) was a successful lawyer, and his mother was a caring stay-at-home housewife. Their façade as a happy family was hanging by a thread as a result of Flame’s father’s violent temper and alcohol problems. When he came home from work he would often beat Flame and his mother in a drunken rage. Flame eventually ran away from home as encouraged by his mother. She often calls him on a pay phone in town.
15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?
Yes! Talk to me about OC’s please. Nothing makes me happier =D
16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
Remi has a PHD in biology, so yeah, him.
17. Any OC OTPs?
Well the obvious Michael/Triplus. I just want them to snuggle under a blanket forever. They need it. Gracia/Bridget, Alice/Jeremiah (Michael’s parents) The rest of my OC’s relationships pretty much always go to hell. But also Ramona/Carole. I have been playing with this idea and it’s very cute.

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
Ok this is about to get dark and depressing up in here. Steven was pretty much a result of my depression. Whenever I was feeling down, I kind of projected all my bad emotions onto him. He was my therapy. That’s why his character was so much more extreme before. Now that I don’t really have a lot of those feelings anymore, he has become more melancholy.
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
Ramona sings! She’s in a punk band, but her voice isn’t quite suited for it XD Her voice is very clear and powerful. I can imagine her sounding a bit like Freddi Walker. She loves a lot of punk and rock bands, but her one true favorite singer is Ella Fitzgerald.
21. Your most artistic OC?
I don’t really have any particularly artistic OC’s:0 Michael is an Architect, but he stopped drawing creatively in high school. Carole is quite the talented dancer.
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
Hm – not really?
23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?
I intended for Triplus to be more angry and aggressive, Flame was supposed to be crazier and even more random, Kyle was a bit more “heroic”, Sam was “The sexy latina” (still sexy and still latina, but a lot more fleshed out) – and Remi was a stereotypical stoner.
24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
I want to party with Elliott and take selfies with him #relatable
25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)
I put a bit of myself into a lot of my OC’s, but I think I’m mostly like Kyle (awkward and shy)
26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?
Yeah. Young me took a lot of inspiration from many things. Now it’s always subconscious. But if I spot it, I try to change it without changing everything.
27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?
Elliott was inspired by Luciano Pavarotti, The Godfather soundtrack and Madonna (he’s such a material girl) A lot of my Torpid characters were inspired by RENT. Go listen to https://www.youtube.com

28. Your most dangerous OC?
Steven is the one you would want to watch out for the most. His behavior is erratic at best, and you’ll never know for certain when he might strike.
Elliott and most of the gangster people from this story are considered dangerous people. But you’d want to look out for Elliott, Garcia and John especially.
Remi and Flame are both pretty intimidating, but they’re both too moral to do any actual serious damage (Flame at least) Triplus is most definitely the most dangerous Torpid character if angered enough. He’s usually very careful not to hurt anybody, but if you get him angry enough, you’d wanna look out.
The Horned Crow and Nemphis are both pretty dangerous beings.
29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?
Flame, Lucia (Elliott’s daughter) and Steven would probably be hiding there waiting to scare people.
30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?
Carole.
31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really)
Samantha would probably have a very simple blog where she would reblog historical stuff like old photos, paintings and items. With the occasional throwback to the 80’s.
32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why?
Kyle would be the perfect scared, clueless protagonist. Michael can be his jumpy, advice-giving sidekick.
33. Your shyest OC?
Kyle and Carole.
34. Do you have any twin characters?
Yes! I have a pair of conjoined twins named Robin and Archie (Archimedes)
35. Any sibling characters?
Kyle and Triplus are cousins, but they’re like brothers. Also their moms, but that’s pretty obvious. Kyle also has a brother, Triplus has a brother and a sister, Sam has three brothers, Ramona has two sisters and Remi has four sisters. Flame and Kyle also has a very close relationship.
36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?
Kyle and Flame are pretty much attached at the hip. Also Elliott and Cameron (rat detective) they’re meant to be enemies, but they get along surprisingly well.

Steven.
38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
Carole! She does some freestyle ballet.

Guess I can talk a little about Cameron! She’s a private detective assigned to investigate and stop Elliott’s criminal activity and break down his empire. She’s a quick thinker, intelligent, and grouch. Her favorite activity is to sit down and tear apart pieces of paper while she’s thinking.

It’s a huge privilege to be able to make these characters! They’ve allowed me to explore more of myself and learn new things =D

I can see Flame hearing about them and asking if it’s still a legit religion.
43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess.
I usually strive for diversity in my characters, but I guess a recent trope of mine is to create middle-aged men with a lot of personal problems haha.

I guess how alive they feel to me? I can always imagine what they would say and do in different situations, and they feel like they’re my personal friends. And I’m always learning new things about them, which is so much fun! It’s kinda like I could reach into the paper and pull them out.
