adventures at FERMILAB

Today I went exploring at Fermilab National Accelerator. If you guys don't know what it is, think "Large Hadron Collider" before there was a Large Hadron Collider. Security was pretty lax and since it was a Tuesday afternoon, there was almost nobody there -- giving me easy access to many places that might otherwise have required trying to talk my way past extra security checkpoints :V
Most of the checkpoints were unmanned, though, so I got some pretty sweet pics you guys are gonna love.

3 pages of awesome stuff!! Starting off with the visitor's center, I moved onto the sculptures of Fermilab, and finally started to explore places off the beaten path to show you guys some of the gritty side of science.....
Be sure to check out the awesome underground entrance pics, the warning signs, and the van with the US Government plates!! Wild stuff :D
