The Truth Behind Mega Flygon Revealed!!

So, in an interview recently with Ken Sugimori, he revealed the truth behind a fact that a lot of Pokemon fans have been wanting to know! There was going to be a Mega Flygon. Most key characters recently have had a Mega Evolution specific to their signature Pokemon. The character Aarune needs a Pokemon with Fly and Secret Base, and what Hoenn Pokemon is perfect for this? Flygon! So what is his signature Pokemon? Flygon!! But why is Flygon the exception? According to Sugimori.... they simply couldn't settle on a design for Mega Flygon and thus, poor pudgy sexy Flygon is neglected...
I seriously doubt GameFreak's design team spends a lot of time on FurAffinity, but... maybe they should.

Edit: My thoughts on this. There's a TON of artists that love Pokemon, DUH! How about a contest? Design Mega Flygon and if your design is chosen, it becomes reality! You wouldn't even NEED to offer a prize! How many people would just go nuts over the chance to be an official part of Pokemon?

Awesome! Flygon gets a mega evolution. But I don't want them I make one for Mightyena or Arcanine or Ninetales. They already ruined Manectric in looks...grr...

I mean, I guess this is better than them just disliking him, but still...Geez.
Though i for one would like to see the underdogs like Lapras, Milotic and Dunesparce get one, or at least a standard evo where lapras and dusparce are concerned.
...Seriously, their whole reasoning behind not making Mega Flygon seems more like an excuse than a reason. Not much unlike their reasoning for not having trainer customization in OR/AS...
Then again Mawile got a mega evolution in X and Y but not Sableye, despite those two being similar as well, only for Sableye to get a mega in ORAS.
I have a little bit of faith that the final two Kalos games will have a Mega Flygon, since I wouldn't be surprised if they bring back scrapped ideas for the generation finale, especially since they have done so in some ways in past generations.
