Tues. April 21st Paw-Mail! (journal copy)
Thank you to all for the Watches, Favourites and great comments!
*growf*
Erf... late paw-mail today. Sorry about that guys - I usually try to get these posted up first thing in the morning at work (... ahhh, the open-access of universities), but I've had folks here all morning on a number of topics, so didn't get the chance to finish up until now.
Will be picking up the new vehicle tomorrow after doing up the paperwork on the weekend. One change from what I said before - switched to a Fathom Blue Kia Soul instead of the Onyx. They didn't have Onyx in stock, so would have had a pay an extra bit to get one, and wait longer, and once I saw the Fathom blue I really loved it - it's a super metallic paint that just sparkles in the light. >_> Ugh... and you know... dragons and sparkly things... it had me hooked. <_<
Cool Stuff:
Today is Trogan's birthday! (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/trogan) Go wish the big hoss some cake from the heavens.
Also, Relay for Life is drawing near - and there's a group called Furries For A Cure that is running (in suit) to raise money for the American Cancer Society. A couple of my friends are participating in it:
Edgewise and
KaynusVulfe. Each set up some donation pages. Edgewise lucked out as a ton of his co-workers were able to chip in, but Kaynus is still needing some backing to meet his goal. Please consider donating as both of these awesome guys have had to deal with the horrors of cancer with family and friends:Kaynus: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?f.....mp;px=35445126

And now, on with the toes!

This one missed being on Friday's mail by only minutes. :) Very cute picture of a wide-eyed and playful guy (cool eye colours!) showing off his big feet. :)

Loki and Muddy enjoy DrumBunker the dragon's feet while also treating the dragon to a foot rub. Looks like he's rather enjoying it too!

1st pic: I've long said that one should beware any warning signs at botanical gardens... especially if they have what look like advanced research facilities. Then again... if the plants have feet like this lady, are we really gonna head the warning anyway? :3 Great looking soles on her.
2nd pic: Annnnnd no matter how good you were doing at the card game, she just guaranteed you're gonna lose. And you likely are as good with that as I am. :D
Jackrow:

Because Charr. And whoa... crossover heaven! Lots of stuff going on here, and a nice view of the charr female's sexy paws.
SabretoothedErmine:

WOW - one of those pictures you just have to stare at and admire for the sheer detail! But more than that, she is just beautiful and the Shibari ropes really accent it. Pretty unique looking footpaws on her too (and ditto for how the ropes make them look too).
Foxypaws:

Smawgy's footpaw in one awesome closeup! Nice pad details. It's no wonder Foxy and Maxx can't get enough of them. :3

Beatrice the Renamon in some wonderfully tight pants, showing off her huge, soft soles. What more needs to be said. :)
Gontram:

Stumbled upon these beautiful feet which belong to a model named Hanula. Very perfect proportions for the toe size, shape and such and gorgeous soles. Would have preferred to see them clean(er), but still very lovely. There is a gallery with a few more images of her here: http://gontram.deviantart.com/galle.....9624318/Hanula. I find it exceptionally rare that anyone has toes quite this perfect too. I often wonder what a lady like this thinks of them - if she realizes how amazing they look or not, or has partner who appreciates how lucky he or she is to have feet like that.
Keedot:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16291449/ (nsfw, f, charr!)
Because charr. Stunningly beautiful little charr lady (with an origin story that sounds very similar to Nyrri, one of my own charr characters, cool). Lovely paws up for the offering. :) Thanks to
VampireKitty for finding this one!Vallhund:

DemiDelerious:

The character SHame getting to enjoy another male, who's got a bit paw up in the air.
Tokeki:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16332844/ (nsfw, m/m, charr!)
Because Charr. Gods... I've been waiting eagerly to see this one finished ever since Tokeki showed me the initial sketch for it a few weeks ago! My little birthday charr picture inspired Loki and Muddy, who got a hold of Tokeki and this is the end result. BIG amazing charr toes, and a great perspective to show everything else that's going on as well.

Uh oh... Pip's got himself into a rather bad situation here, though it sure affords us a graciously paw-filled view of his nice soles.
Rukis:

Beautifully shaded pencil piece with two sexy canines and a little drinking under the table (hur hur). Very lovely view of the one's soles in this pic.

More canines having fun, this time specifically with their footpaws! Lucky guy on the ground is getting a face full of sexy toes.
And that's it for today! Have a good week, and see ya for Friday's Paw-mail. ^_^

I hope all goes well with your new car. The one you had before was how I'd imagine a typical american car: big. But it also costs a lot of money to repair and fuel. So I hope your new car is going to be reliable in all circumstances. :)
I also do hope that more people donate for Kaynus' mission against cancer. I wish him good luck.
And damn - that picture from Tokeki. Those charr paws are delicious. I should have commissioned him when he still offered the discount. But I know that I'd have paid him the full price anyway - so it doesn't matter. We need more charr paws. :O
I personally LOVE big cars. If I could find a way to have a classic late 60's, early 70s car with an efficient engine, I would. :) Thing is... it's possible, but it's expensive, and then you wouldn't want to have that car as an every-day driver since it's still not overly safe, nor would you want to ever drive it in the winter and wreck it. So some day maybe I'll be able to retro-mod a classic into a modern, efficient vehicle that looks cool and has all the advantages of being huge (trunk space!). Until then, I need to get vehicles that are more correctly sized for what I'm doing. The cost of going places in the truck was actually getting to the point where we often staying home instead of going out because it just cost too much to drive. Plus, being a Dodge, at least once a year you'd get that "Oop - I need $700 in repairs!" surprise. My truck has 139,500km on it, which is low for 12 years old, and yet I've spent over $8000 on repairs so far to keep it in good condition, and 2/3 of that was spent before it even crossed the 100K mark! That's not good. :/ The Kia Soul comes with a 5 year bumper-to-bumper warranty, so at least I'll have the piece of mind that anything that comes up in the first 5 years (if anything), is not my problem. But the last couple cars my father had were Kia (and Hyundai... same company), and he never had problems with them. So... I can only hope. :)
As for the Tokeki pic... mmf... YES... love that pic! And hey, never too late to commission him you know. :) He'd be happy to take on whatever you had in mind. :)
Yeah, let's hope your new car is going to be reliable without any incidents. :) Usually you also have to think about economic aspects and not just what car you'd actually want to drive, so yeah go for a smaller car. Maybe you'd laugh if you saw the cars here, many of them are small and round without any real 'character' to it. But most of them are efficient. I mean 20L/100km is really insane, at least nowadays. :O
What I want to buy/drive is a Dodge Hellcat Challenger. 707hp, 6.1L V8. To me, that's a nice car; sounds good, goes fast, and is still at least mid-sized (though I wish it were bigger). But even though it's the most affordable super-car in the world, it's still out of the price range of most people.
Realistically, if I had the money, and still got a vehicle that fit within the size-restrictions my mate put on it (she didn't want anything larger than the current truck), I would have gotten a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Quad cab with the short bed, a Subaru Forester Turbo, or a 2016 Kia Sorento V6 AWD. All of those, however were well over the budget we were trying to fit the vehicle in.
Maybe you can buy the car of your dreams someday. :) One day ...
There is also the technology-aspect of it. It is extremely likely that in 20 years, most cars will be self-driving. Humans are TERRIBLE at driving, and you can bet insurance companies will be very, very happy to push for automated cars. While they may never outright "ban" having a self-driven vehicle, it's likely that the cost of insuring yourself in one would be so high that it too will slowly become something only the wealthy can afford.
You are probably right. You have to distingiush between hope and illusion. -_- But at least you can somewhat afford a car. Let's enjoy what we have ...
Some real fun ones this time. ^^ That Charr lady by Keedot is beautiful and sweet and cute, such a wonderful pose. And I definitely have to agree with Cirez on that Tokeki one with the Charrpaws! So lovely and fun.
And mmf, that AggroBadger one definitely fits the category of 'highly Dorey-relevant.' Ticks many boxes, makes for squirmy blue dragons. ^^
Yeah, it's gonna be nice having the new car. Though while driving Silver around today, I was a bit sad that it'll be gone. I'll miss the roar of a V8, though I won't miss the fuel needed to make that roar. :P
When I sold my '75 Pontiac Laurentian, it wasn't road-worthy anymore. Rust had damaged the rear chassis body mounts, and it wasn't repairable without a frame-off restoration. So I sold it for parts, but man... did it ever find new life. The engine was put into a 1983 GM short-van hot rod that's still on the road today. The transmission was used by another hot-rodder for a custom resto-mod. The wheels went to a guy restoring a 1978 Caprice, the doors and front panels went to another guy restoring an old Parisenne, and the breaks were apparently used to fix up another older car. Everything on it was mechanically perfect - just had those bad rear mounts. So it was nice to know it was able to give life to SO many other neat projects. :)
That's really neat that the Laurentian's bits were able to go to so many neat places. :) Like an organ donor saving several lives after giving his own or something. ^^
And aye, I was SO happy to know that the Laurentian's passing after 31 years of continuous service across 3 owners (1 of which it out-lived) meant life for many other vehicles. It was one of the saddest things for me to let go of that car - it was a simple car by modern standards, but I really enjoyed it. It was very reliable and never left me stranded anywhere. Oddly enough, it was also the BEST winter vehicle I ever had. Weight distribution was just perfect in it - never got it stuck. I also miss a truck so huge that I could actually put my entire bike in the truck. XD
