So I was browsing YouTube videos and found an adorable one of something called a Giant Day Gecko, see here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d9CSj7LZUYQ. Anywho I am really exploring the idea of getting one but iv never owned a lizard or any other amphibians before and have a few questions... First of all how much is a reasonable price? What stores, sites sell them? Is it inhumane to get them in the mail? Where can I buy live food? Are they hard to tame? How long do they live? Is it poisonous if it gets eaten by a cat or dog (something I'd never want to happen). Again this is something i know very little about and any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for reading. :)
