To pad, or not to pad
I am still trying to answer that question XD
The hindpaws I build are going to be furred on the bottom, but I am trying to figure out whether I should put just some cut out felt pads on the bottom or do large feline silicone pads like I have on the handpaws.
let me know what you think!

Depends! Will you be wearing them inside or outside a majority of the time, or both?

Both. I will be wearing some custom sandals I am making when ever I am outside/in a dirty environment.

Then I'd just go with the felt pads if you'll have protection ^-^

Silicone pawpads on the bottom of your feet might hurt if they're not placed properly, just keep that in mind. :)

Hmm... didn't think of that. Thank you!

To be fair, it's your choice. Based on what you're doing I'd go with rubber/some other sole-like material. Silicone sounds good, whereas the felt (imo) just seems to be capable of taking less wear. I'd go with silicone and a good insole, personally.

-nods- alright. I will look to see if I can find rubber paw pads of a large cat design.
