This person commissioned a fullsuit from me and chargebacked all of the payments. At first I thought their excuse may be valid, but was still wary. After speaking with others I learned this user has done the same to TONS of people. I know that they did this to AJ/autumnfallings last year, and used the same exact excuse with them as they used with me just yesterday. I also am aware they did this to Jenna/Catlawn who did an art commission for them which was chargebacked as well. I have now learned of four or so other people for sure having the same thing happen to them by this person. Chargeback meaning they called their credit/debit card company and from the code number on my paypal for the reason, which is code 37, means they told their bank it was a fraudulent transaction that they did not make willingly. Meaning they told their bank that the transactions were made without their permission, and unfortunately there isn't much paypal can do about it since the bank just takes the money back. Filing a case against this is very hard, as it is hard for paypal to fight with the bank, even though I have proof of the used saying they "authorized" the payments.

This was an anthrocon deadlined fullsuit that I had already started work on, already ordered all materials for, and already put work into. The chargebacks were bad enough to put my bank account on a negative, and Lexi did not even tell me they did so. So I was left opening my paypal to be shocked by the payments, made four months ago, now being taken out of my account from a bank saying it was a fraudulent transaction. Lexi told me

"yeah thats me did you get a note from paypal about a recharge or something juts decline it i dismissed the case on that"

To which I was appalled because I was being written off so quickly. Then she said this:

"what i dismissed it and don't paypal that was fine"

These types of responses went on for a few hours, with a few versions of a story about cancelling a paypal account and about card theft from her, which now seem very unlikely to be true as none of it adds up. As well as the fact that this happened to other people at completely different times, with the same exact excuse. Why would her card be stolen, her bank make the same "mistake" and charge back all transactions, and she have to delete her paypal on over 3-5 different known occasions?

They are claiming that the bank did this themselves, and that they told their bank it was authorized. After researching with paypal and with others, whom had the same excuse years ago as well, this was very much untrue and there is no way they didn't do this purposefully. I advise to not accept ANY commissions from them, art, suits, anything at all. Or for that matter do any kind of business involving money with them. I never call out people, and truly thought maybe I was overreacting, however this user is scamming artists and I want to warn people about this. I am positive I will not be seeing my money any time soon, and neither will the others. I don't want anyone to attack this user! I just want a heads up with some reasoning behind it. I have done everything I can to try and get my money back, but unfortunately it doesn't look like that is going to happen. I surely hope that nobody else has the same thing happen to them!

I'm very tired and very sick currently, so I hope this at least made a little bit of sense! Please do not attack the user, but do spread word. Just crossing my fingers I can at least get the downpayment back from her bank to cover the material costs.

EDIT: I have removed the names to be safe, however if you are an artist and this has happened to you or anyone you know, or you have heard of a similar excuse NOTE ME! I can give you the names privately only and if you are having true concern about one of your commissioners being said person. I didn't want to get in trouble as now that i'm thinking I probably could for having a name on there.
