Question about art trades! D=

Long story short, I have a lot of pending art trades from people, some of which I waited for years on, that being said, should I just let them go or talk to them about it later?
I don't like the idea of putting effort on something and not have another follow through with the same kind of effort, but I also don't wanna hold on to this for years without it being resolved.
How would you handle it?

Talk to them about it, be firm but fair with them

I'm also in the same place as I've always been via IM. I don't think you've lost that.

I would talk through with them about whether or not I'd still wanna do the art trade (and how) if I were you, though if you have any art trade partners who already drew their piece, AT LEAST reply to them. I drew my part for someone else a while back, and they saw it and totally left me hanging (I don't even know if they liked it or not--probably not, but it'd be nice to know anyway).
