From my experience, furries can be the worst of enemies and the best of friends, very seldom have I seen a middle ground. No one can be more cruel to a furry than another furry, and the very next day I see furries banding together to help one another quite selflessly.

Yea, I mean there are some who don't wish a middle ground, they just want their way and their own little views been seen as right.

It's because many of the furries who are so-called best friends actually don't know anything about each other, hooking up only due to sexual frustration and loneliness. Once they get used to the stranger they befriended, they realize how different they are and that's when the claws come out.

Most furries are pretty young and immature too so there's that.

I do agree with you when it comes to many of them just jumping on the bandwagon and just. . well regretting on what they just did.
but, at least there are some people who really care for one's friendship and all.

And they will take your whole arm out... Especially online.

I found out about this several times... And I still do to this very day, Due to the fact that I do my very best to be friendly and caring... Despite many really do not deserve this kind of treatment (And despite all of my constant fuck ups and personal issues getting in the way).

And, once again speaking in "internet" terms... A lot of folks like to think that they have all the liberties they wish for with another individual... Acting in the most immature and selfish of ways.

To make matters worse (And this is something I did encounter more on this "fandom" in particular aswell as the complete lack of maturity I mentioned before) everyone is broken in their own shit.
And far more happy to keep themself's "that way", complaining and bitching every five seconds that they can rather than doing even the smallest of efforts.
Thus bringing more and more people down with in their own "hell" (made of drama-fests... most of the times).

It took me years just to "filter" out tons and tons of useless users who had gotten into my list only to keep me around as some kind of "trophy" ...Without even bothering or attempting to give me a call again.
Not even a small "Hi, How are you doing today?".

As shockingly surprising as it may sound, I actually found some very decent people in this site.
Not many at all... But I did nonetheless!

It's usually about who's behind the avatar, and whatever crap they had to deal with during the day. I'd make a generalization, but I have yet to deeply engage with every single individual I've come across, my experience so far positive. Then again, that's probably because I try to present myself positively, or I just happened to encounter the favorable representatives first.

Remember, we're still human. We're far from saints, but also not demons. We're not necessarily children, but yet to possess the wisdom of our elders. Expecting more or less would be unwise, without a proper standard of measurement to use as a reference.

With my experience with a few on here i got about maybe 6 good friends from art lessons and great communication....a few others I wish I never said hey

Yup. I have to agree. The amount of journals I've seen of these things. Day 1 - OMG I'm talking to this AMAZING guy/girl/crab I really hope we can be more than friends! Day 2 - OMGOMGOMG we're dating! I love him/her so much! We know EVERYTHING about one another and can't WAIT to get married. Leave to set for 5-7 days OMG he/she is SUCH a nasty person! They lied about this and that! Even though I obviously did too! BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER! THEY BROKE MY HEART! I WANT TO DIE.
Drives me up the fucking wall. My brain just can't handle this stuff! D;

When it comes to people. You don't get to tell others who they shouldn't and shouldn't speak to. I personally couldn't give a flying fuck if a friend of mine had a falling out with another friend I speak with. It's got nothing to do with me. And dragging me into it only shows a lack of respect. People need to remember these things before playing the "that's mine" card.

And that right there is the issue. If people are nice to you, why should you have to ignore them? You have no reason to.
It takes 2 people to fall out. Not one. And real friends, don't drag one another into their shit. D;

I tend to hate fandom...more comissions from those who make fanart more than original content

I saw this journal a long time ago (used to have the Cocobanana account), and it still holds true sadly. I had a best friend, who I'd dated for 6 months and then remained good friends for years after, who ended up blocking me on everything after a short disagreement. Maybe I'd blinded myself to his lack of satisfaction with our friendship, but we had shared so many secrets and experiences so it is still very hard to process since it happened at the top of this month...
