Just finished listening to the podcast version of Cory Doctorow's Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom. Good stuff, give it a read or a listen it's available online for free under a CC license.

I really like the way he writes his science fiction, it's not so much about aliens but rather it poses interesting lines of inquiry about humanity's future and how society might change for the better or the worst based on what's in the cutting edge of science and culture. So yeah, good stuff. :3
