Pre-registration Deadline
You now have 14 days! Pre-registration for What The Fur will close on May 7th! This means that if you want to take advantage of our lower rates, you'd better let us know now! Pre-registering for the convention helps both the convention, and you! It lets us know you're coming, so we can plan ahead, and get all of your stuff ready so that when you arrive, there's very little waiting before you can join in the fun!
Also, keep in mind that you can only register for our prestigious Patron level (or take the upgrade for Bradley's Epicurean Gastronomical Extravaganza) during the pre-registration period. May 18th will be too late. Click the link below to register now!

Hotel Deadline
May 7th is also the date that the special rates for the Holiday Inn will be closed! Currently, there are still some rooms left, both double-queens, and some suites.
As of the 7th of May we and the hotel cannot guarantee availability of rooms, so please, if you're planning on reserving a room, do so quickly! Details can be found in the link below:

The schedule is almost ready, we're just working on a few last minute tweaks, and then it will be yours to peruse! We'll announce once we have a full version ready.
Conbook submissions
As the convention gets closer, we find that we still have room in our conbook for artwork and stories! Even some room for advertisements! Check out our conbook page for more info!
Charity Auction
Every year, What The Fur proudly collects donations and provides them to our chosen charity: The Ecomuseum. In the last five years we have managed to raise over $11,000 for the Ecomuseum. We even raised enough money to shave our chairperson's head bald! The money we've raised has gone to the care and maintenance of the animals at the Ecomuseum, to help build the new aviary, and many other things.
Help us to raise even more in support of the Ecomuseum! If you have items you would like to donate to the charity auction, bring them along! If you can't make it this year, and want to send a supporting donation, we'll gladly accept them and add them to the charity fund.
Dealers Update
Our Dealer Map will soon be available. Watch for another post with the details in the coming week or so.
In the meantime, several of our dealers have indicated that they are taking pre-orders for at-convention delivery! This means that you can get in touch with them for things like badges, order it from them now so you have a spiffy new badge right at the beginning of the con! It's like a kind of time travel, right?
The dealers page has little green indicators next to the dealers that are taking orders now.
