Reptile people. Got a lizard in a box here. Not sure wat do
10 years ago
So we got our first rain in awhile here in california today. My stupid rat ferret pissed on the carpet downstairs after he snuck out of my room. I go to get a sopping wet towel that i now use as a rag out of the back yard that was draped on a bench. Go inside, treat the carpet and then notice there's a sopping wet, freezing cold, stiff, and totally unresponsive but alive blue belly lizard on the carpet where the towel was. It looks fat, possibly ready to lay some eggs or something. Unusually fat for a blue belly. EDIT: This thing. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....2/DSC00937.JPG
I"m pretty sure that it went to shield itself from the rain under the rain under the towel and got trapped underneath it by the weight of sopping wet fabric. I don't know what lizards do to survive rain but i assume it's not wrap themselves in a freezing cold and sopping wet rag.
It'll run a few steps now if i fuck with it but yeah, it doesn't seem to be doing too well. I got it in a box in the bathroom with a space heater near it, pretty soon that room will be like 90 degrees. Figure getting it's body temp up a bit will do it good before i gotta put it back outside.
I dunno, it doesn't look like it's doing great. any advice?
Also i totally got a sketch commission slot open. Somebody take it lol. I could even draw porn of the lizard for you.

IT is perking up with the heater on though. It seems like, totally exhausted. Should i just like close the box and put a water dish or something in there? Cuz it's gonna rain much of tomorrow too.
Maybe i'll wait for others to chime in.
Also here's a pic of him because lizards https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....2/DSC00937.JPG
I got a feeling it would have if i hadn't warmed it up. It seems very responsive and alert now whereas before it was stiff as a board and barely breathing.
That same lizard. guess she made it.
xD Nah, but that was an adorable little lizzie.
